Do you want to digitize vinyl records, reel-to-reel tapes, cassettes, or other analog recordings? Measure an amplifier, preamplifier, or DAC? Test and repair audio equipment? Equip your home recording setup or electronics lab with a high-quality measurement ADC?

Amiteque Electronics is preparing to release the A5, a compact standalone 24-bit analog-to-digital converter with sample rates up to 192 kHz. It is designed for high-quality recording and digitization of analog sources, audio equipment development, testing and repair, as well as laboratory measurements.

• Input impedance: 20 kΩ balanced, 10 kΩ single-ended
• Input sensitivity at 0 dBFS: approximately 2.4 Vrms / +9.8 dBu balanced, approximately 2.4 Vrms single-ended
• 24-bit conversion
• Sample rates: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192 kHz
• Selectable output word length: 16, 18, 20 and 24 bits
• Coaxial S/PDIF digital output
• Independent Left and Right overflow indicators
• Classic and Low Delay digital filter modes
• Selectable high-pass filter
• Fully linear power supply system
• THD+N: -110 dB typical
• Noise level: -123 dBFS (24-bit/48 kHz, inputs open)
• Dynamic range: 121 dB typical (123 dB A-weighted)

The A5 uses no switching power converters, either internally or in the external power supply.

No drivers or additional software are required. The A5 connects via S/PDIF to your existing audio system, recorder, or measurement setup, providing a high-quality upgrade to its analog input signal path without replacing the rest of your equipment.

Amiteque Esperanza.

Sometimes a device is not born from a marketing plan, but from an idea that has lived inside for a long time. From the desire to create something with engineering honesty, character, and respect for real audio design.

The Esperanza DAC is being created exactly this way.

At its core are classic multibit DAC chips, the same kind of solutions around which an entire era of digital audio was once built. This is not an attempt to chase trends or numbers in a specification table. It is a return to an approach where architecture, power supply, the analog section, PCB layout, implementation details, and the way everything works together all truly matter.

Esperanza is not just a DAC.

Inside one enclosure, it combines a digital input, a line-level analog input, and a built-in MM/MC RIAA phono stage. This means the unit can become not only a digital source, but also the center of a small yet very serious audio system.

Special attention has been given to the analog section. The output stage, power supply, filtering, and signal handling after the DAC chips are all designed with the understanding that sound does not come from a single chip. It is shaped by dozens of engineering decisions, each of which either helps the music or gets in its way.

The appearance of Esperanza is also no accident. It is not a faceless box with buttons. The front panel, indicators, controls, proportions of the enclosure, everything has been designed so the unit has its own character. A little vintage, a little laboratory-like, a little unusual, but still alive and recognizable.

Esperanza is being created for those who are interested not only in music, but also in the culture of audio engineering itself. For those who understand the difference between something that simply “works” and something made with care. For those who appreciate classic solutions, but want to see them in a modern, clean, and thoughtful implementation.
