What we’re hearing from clinics lately: saving time is only part of the equation.

Clinicians want to finish documentation faster, yes. But they also want to feel confident that the note is good, the important details are there, and they’re not trading quality for speed.

One comment that stood out recently:
“Tali has genuinely been probably the most significant game changer for me, both in helping me have better notes and finishing my day sooner, and also going home with the pleasing feeling that I have done a good day’s work and have documented everything better than I have done before.”

That last part matters.

The goal shouldn’t just be getting through documentation faster. It should be getting to the end of the day knowing the work is actually done well. That’s a theme we’ve been hearing more and more from clinicians using Tali.

We asked Hesam where he thinks AI can make the biggest difference in healthcare.

For him, it comes back to the amount of a clinician’s day that gets swallowed by everything around the actual patient interaction.

Managing inboxes. Following referrals. Filling out forms. Documentation. Reviewing and organizing more information than any one person realistically has time for.

That work matters. But when it takes up so much of the day, something else gets squeezed.

The time to listen. The mental space to think through a complex case. The energy to actually be present with the person sitting in front of you. That’s where Hesam sees the opportunity for AI.

Not replacing the judgement, problem-solving or human relationship at the centre of care. Taking more of the burden around it off the clinician’s plate.

Because the real win isn’t just making healthcare faster. It’s giving clinicians more capacity for the parts of the job that need them most.

At OMGMA last week, we were showing off Billing and spending a lot of time listening to the clinic managers who stopped by.

What we heard most wasn’t “Why are you the best?” It was a much bigger question: “How do I make this work across my entire clinic?”

The conversation is moving beyond what each individual tool can do. Clinic managers are thinking about how all of it actually works together across the clinic.

And this is exactly why it matters for us to keep getting out across Canada and having these conversations in person.

There’s just so much you can learn standing with a clinic manager, showing them how something works, hearing where they immediately see value, and where they say, “Okay, but how would this work across my whole clinic?”

Those conversations tell us what people are actually trying to solve, not just what features they’re asking for.
