Just three quiet problems that were costing this business every single day without making any noise about it. 🔍

The first thing I noticed was the phone number sitting on the homepage like a piece of text. On mobile you couldn't tap it. Anyone who wanted to call had to copy it, open their dialer, paste it in. How many people actually did that? My guess is almost none. They just called someone else.

The second thing was the contact form. Eleven fields. Name, email, phone, company name, service type, budget range, timeline, how did you hear about us. I've filled out shorter job applications. People don't want to apply to contact a business. Three fields and a submit button is all you need.

The third thing was a hero image on the homepage that was 4.2 megabytes. Gorgeous photo. On mobile it took just under 7 seconds to appear. By that point most visitors were already gone. The business owner had no idea because it looked fine on their office computer on a fast WiFi connection.

None of these take weeks to fix. Most of them take hours. But they were sitting there quietly turning people away while this business owner wondered why the site wasn't converting.

Go check these three things on your own site right now. 📌

After optimizing hundreds of eCommerce sites I can tell you that the same problems show up every single time. And none of them are complicated. They're just things nobody caught before launch and nobody cleaned up after. 🛒⚡

The biggest one is images. Most online stores are still running original JPEG files from a product photographer. Some of them are 3, 4, 5 megabytes each. Every time someone opens a product page those files load one by one. Switching to WebP or AVIF alone can cut load time in half.

Then there are the tracking scripts. Every third party app you install the chat widget, the review tool, the abandoned cart tracker, the affiliate plugin adds code that fires on every single page load whether the visitor needs it or not. Ten apps means ten extra things your site is doing before anyone sees your product.

No CDN means every visitor is loading your site from one server in one location. Someone shopping from across the country waits longer than someone down the street. A CDN fixes that by serving your site from the closest possible location to whoever is browsing.

And page builders are the quiet one. Most of them load the code for every feature they offer whether you use it or not. Your site carries the weight of tools you never turned on.

Save this. These four things are where most eCommerce speed problems actually live.

Most business owners are still searching for answers about why their website isn't bringing in clients. Reading articles. Watching tutorials. Trying plugins. Changing themes.

The answer is almost never what they think it is. đź“°

It's usually speed. Structure. Visibility. The things that happen under the surface that nobody told them to look at.

That's what we fix. And we do it as your outsourced digital growth team not another agency with a one-size-fits-all package.

The bottom row is what we inherited. 6.6 seconds to load. 3.27MB page size. 140 requests firing every time someone visited. That's not a slow website — that's a website actively pushing people away.

The top row is what we delivered. 1.4 seconds. 179KB. 5 requests. PageSpeed A at 98%. YSlow A at 99%.

Nothing about the business changed. Same products. Same design. Same hosting plan. We just went in, found everything that was slowing it down, and fixed it properly.

The images were uncompressed. JavaScript was loading in the wrong order. Redirects were stacking up unnecessarily. 140 requests down to 5 that tells you how much dead weight was sitting on that site doing nothing except making every visitor wait.

A CBD eCommerce store lives and dies by how fast the buying experience feels. Every second of delay is a customer who didn't check out. This is what fixing that actually looks like.

Before you touch your SEO, your content, your ads, or anything else go to GTmetrix and run a free speed test on your site right now.

I say this because speed is the one thing that affects everything else but gets fixed last. Business owners spend months working on content strategy and keyword research while their site is loading in 7 seconds and quietly pushing every visitor away before they read a single word.

Your speed score is the baseline. If it's below 70 that's where the conversation needs to start. Not with keywords. Not with backlinks. With the thing that's undermining all of it silently in the background.

Takes 60 seconds. It's free. And what it shows you will tell you more about why your site isn't converting than any SEO report will.

Run it. Then DM us your score and we'll tell you exactly what it means. đź“©

Most websites aren’t “broken.” They’re just missing the basics that actually make them grow.

They might look good, but they’re slow, not bringing the right traffic, and no one is really tracking what’s working. That’s why results feel inconsistent.

The bigger issue is this: these things don’t fix themselves. Speed, SEO, structure, and ongoing improvements all need to work together.

Most businesses can’t hire a full team for that, and most agencies don’t go deep enough because they use the same setup for everyone.

That’s why we step in as your outsourced website management and growth team, focusing on what your site actually needs to perform better.

If your website feels like it should be doing more, it’s usually missing a few of these.

Let me tell you something that most web designers won't. ⚡

A beautiful website that loads in 6 seconds will lose to an ugly one that loads in 1. Every single time. Because your visitor doesn't wait. They don't appreciate the design, the colours, the typography, or the hours you spent on it. They just leave. And they go to the next result.

Speed is not a technical detail you hand off to a developer and forget about. It is the first impression your website makes before anyone reads a single word on it. Before they see your offer. Before they trust you. Before they buy.

I've seen businesses spend thousands on a rebrand and lose rankings because nobody optimised the site after launch. The new site looked better than ever and performed worse than before.

Your website can be both fast and beautiful. That's actually the goal. But if you have to pick one to fix first fix the speed. Because a slow site is quietly turning people away every single day while you're focused on everything else.

Want to know how fast your site actually is right now? DM us your URL and we'll run a free check.

I've seen the same pattern repeat itself with almost every client who comes to us after working with another agency. đź“‹

They were sold a system. A package. A set of deliverables that looked the same for every single client regardless of what their business actually needed. A roofer in Toronto got the same strategy as an eCommerce store in London. A local salon got the same report as a digital magazine with a million monthly readers. Same process. Different industries. Same disappointing results.

That's how most agencies scale. They build one system and plug every client into it because that's what's efficient for them. Not for you.

The reality is that most small and mid-sized businesses don't need another agency. They need a website manager, an SEO specialist, a developer, and a strategist who actually understands their business. But hiring all of those people in-house is not something most businesses can justify.

That's exactly the gap we fill.

We show up as your outsourced digital growth team. We learn your business, your goals, your budget, and your website and we build around that. Not around a template that was designed for someone else.

Most websites don’t have a design problem.
They have a performance problem.

They look fine, but behind the scenes they’re slow, not optimized, and no one is really managing them properly.

And fixing that isn’t one job. It’s speed, SEO, and ongoing work combined.

Most businesses can’t hire a full team for that, and most agencies don’t go deep enough.

That’s where we come in. We step in as your team behind the website and fix what’s actually holding it back.

If your site feels like it should be doing more, there’s always a reason. Drop your URL below and I’ll take a look.

A roofer came to us frustrated. He was paying for ads every single month but his competitor kept showing up above him organically. Same city. Same service. Just a better-built website.

When we looked under the hood his site was loading at 6.2 seconds, had no Google Business Profile optimization, no local SEO structure, and didn't exist anywhere on AI search platforms. He wasn't losing because his work was worse. He was losing because nobody could find him.

We rebuilt the foundation. Speed came down to 1.4 seconds. Local SEO went in from scratch. Google Business Profile got properly set up. AI visibility structure was added so he shows up where people are actually searching now not just on Google.

The leads started coming in organically. He didn't change his service. He didn't spend more on ads. He just finally had a website that was working as hard as he was.

That's the difference between having a website and having a growth tool. đźš„

If your site is running ads but losing to competitors organically DM us. That's exactly the kind of problem we fix.
