Legal research shouldn’t stop at the border. Thomson Reuters and Otto Schmidt, a leading German legal publisher, are changing that.

Mutual customers can now access the Otto Schmidt Legal Data Hub, powered by LDA Legal Data Analytics GmbH, inside the classic version of CoCounsel Legal’s international research workflow.

It brings over 120 modules of German law commentary alongside Westlaw and Practical Law Global, with citations from authoritative sources. Plans to extend it to the next generation of CoCounsel Legal are set for early 2027.

Otto Schmidt and LDA join a growing list of partners extending CoCounsel Legal across borders, bringing trusted, jurisdiction-specific expertise into the workflow attorneys already use.
