What a beautiful, buzzing weekend!

A massive congratulations to We Create Our Futures • Climate, Culture & Arts Festival•Toronto on an inspiring, packed festival weekend! It was incredible to see the Centre for Social Innovation completely animated with interactive workshops, art, live music, a clothing swap, and such a vibrant community!

It completely changes the context to see pieces created in isolation suddenly take on a life of their own in a bustling shared space. Seeing my art breathe in an environment filled with this kind of energy was incredibly rewarding!

Watching people gather, rest, and physically engage with the tactile materials of my work brought the whole concept to life. My art is designed to act as an “archive of becoming,” and this weekend was the kind of radical reimagining I hoped to be part of.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to share stories, and to the Centre for Social Innovation team for holding the space so beautifully! The public gallery has closed, but I’m thrilled to share that CSI has asked me to leave one of my pieces up a little while longer for their co-working community to enjoy on the 3rd floor.

Four pieces. One visionary future.
Bringing it back to where it all started. Next weekend, four of my pieces will be featured in the Solarpunk Art Gallery at the We Create Our Futures festival. 
Centre for Social Innovation holds a very special place in my journey. I was a member there for three years when I first launched my design business. Returning to this hub of visionary changemakers to share this personal artwork feels like a true full-circle moment.
While Solarpunk is often viewed through an ecological lens, my work approaches it as an archive of becoming - honouring our lineage, communities, and reimagining how we construct our future selves.
My process is rooted in transforming nostalgic artifacts (like secondhand building blocks and historical cartography) into art experiences. By contrasting these tactile, repurposed materials with modern elements, the work mirrors the Solarpunk theme of merging tradition with innovation to build those future selves.

How do you design a brand that empowers future-ready, inclusive teams?
For TRIEC’s LIFT initiative (Leadership for Integration of Future Talent) the visual identity needed to be grounded, empathetic, and inspiring.

I guided the client through comprehensive brand positioning and developed a multi-layered design system, but the true heartbeat of the project is the logo itself. The visual identity embodies the spirit of upward momentum and inclusion. Notice how the uniquely designed “f” rises in a soft wave to elevate the “i” - this intentionally symbolizes how LIFT raises the bar and helps level the playing field for immigrant talent. The curved form, paired with its upward dots, implies a trajectory of growth that is actionable and filled with purpose and joy. It introduces a subtle softness that perfectly reflects the program’s people-centered approach.

This core identity is supported by a fresh colour palette, custom iconography, unique brand patterns, and a clean sans-serif typeface that strikes a beautiful balance between clarity and warmth.

I’ve always had a complicated relationship with my breasts. 
From the awkward years of adolescence to the intense reality of breastfeeding, and now watching them soften and sag - my relationship with them has been in constant motion.
Every season asks us to make peace with a new version of ourselves, to re-learn our own form, and to find beauty in the shift.

My latest piece (Topography of Nurture) maps that journey, this evolution as a layered mountain range. The hills move from the tender blush of adolescence to the illuminated ductwork of nursing, and ending in a relaxed silhouette adorned with rhinestones as badges of honour.

I see our bodies as living archives. Every shift tells the story of what we’ve carried, sustained, and grown through.

AI can generate a stunning architectural concept in five seconds flat.
But what it can’t do is build deep client relationships, understand spatial psychology, or act as a strategic consultant who navigates real-world constraints.

I recently sat down with AI with Naman on The Strategic Operations Table podcast to talk about where AI fits into modern environmental graphics at IS Design Labs, and where it falls flat.

The biggest takeaway? We use AI as an intern for rapid early discovery. But when clients bring an “AI Napkin Sketch,” our real work begins. Great spatial design isn’t just about human craftsmanship - it’s about being a critical thinker and strategist who asks the right questions before a single element is produced.

In an era of infinite digital visuals, strategic problem-solving and tactile human design are what truly make a commercial space stand out.

How do you create a gritty, urban street-art vibe in a digital space?
When collaborating with RevelHouse on the newly renovated thairoomgrand UpperCanada Mall, the goal was to create an urban environmental graphic that avoided overused cultural motifs. I led the creative direction and brainstormed several distinct concepts, ultimately developing this vibrant Songkran theme to celebrate Thailand’s New Year and capture its joyful, purifying energy.

To get that authentic, painted-on-the-wall feel for the final artwork, I went completely analog in my digital process - zero AI involved. I arranged the core composition, then spent hours meticulously applying custom brushes, layered effects, and faux wall textures to give it that raw, urban edge.

What do you do when you run a successful, established manufacturing company, but you want to reach a completely new audience? You build a sub-brand!

Mega-Lab Manufacturing saw a huge opportunity to branch out, so we partnered up to create Mega-Lab Works.

The goal? We needed this new identity to feel agile, progressive, and modern to attract a fresh market. But we couldn’t lose the legacy of the parent brand.

If you look closely at the new logo, we kept the foundational flask icon and the signature blue colour association to preserve that established trust, but completely transformed the vibe so they can step confidently into the future.

When we started on Screamland Santiago, the creative direction was a wide-open blue sky. The team at RevelHouse and I built this concept from the ground up, dreaming up a “Space Academy” for an indoor theme park.
The design language is all about contrast: sleek, monochromatic white walls and futuristic curved architecture meet full-spectrum, vibrant environmental graphics and custom signage designed to draw patrons right into the action.
Instead of overwhelming the space, the graphics act as the energy source - lighting up the spaceship hull while the on-brand signage guides families toward the rides. The result is an environment that feels sophisticated and stylish for parents, but friendly and exciting for kids.

It’s officially up on the walls! My collection, “Growing Up,” is now live and installed at

This body of work is a deeply personal project for me - it’s a reflection on the chaotic, tender, and beautifully imperfect layers of motherhood, childhood, and community. Carving out time alongside my ongoing brand design practice to build these physical, dimensional stories has been a journey, and I am so excited to finally share them with the city.

In my recent feature for I dive into the logic and curiosity behind Toronto’s most successful public spots. It’s not just about aesthetics - it’s about how a flood-protection landscape like Corktown Common can double as a community sanctuary, or how an urban marsh can thrive in the heart of the East End.
