Good afternoon! Here are all the different moulds I have for making stones. I’ve been making more than usual, as I will soon be selling my stones in a retail setting! I use UltraCal30 to make them. Then, to get the air bubbles out, I cheat a little……I use my massage gun to vibrate the moulds 🤣 what can I say, it’s effective! What little tricks do you use when casting stones?

Good afternoon! I post this, to share the hesitation I had about deciding to drill into this stone…after already investing 3 hours into it. One slip and it could all be ruined, or require time-consuming repair. Wish me luck. Good afternoon 😊 I wanted to share a few still photos of this stone, Kashmir. The base colour is a deep Midnight Blue, which provides a different kind of contrast for the tiny dots of that outline the Flower of Life pattern, that forms the basis of the design. I’m fond of this palette…. It’s mysterious to me, and the only colour that doesn’t shift is the black! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

This week I went to Mosport with one of the very best in the wrap industry, Cam Blancher, and together we transformed this vehicle, (worth more than a house) from boring white into a black and yellow track demon....in a single day! I did this installation in Toronto's Financial District right before Canada Day......these numbers are the same size as the Toronto PanAm letters I wrapped in 2015, which are still sitting in front of City Hall. Thanks to my friend Len for his help that day!

Here's something you might have seen, if you watch television and are into fishing. Early this year, I had the privilege of designing a vehicle wrap for the host of FISH TV, a Canadian program, on a Tundra truck being supplied by Toyota.

Leo, the host, really wanted this image he found on the internet. I had to do a LOT of detective work to find the original artist, which I did....after getting permission to use the image and obtaining a high-quality digital copy of it, I went to work in Photoshop, creating new image from the original in order to fill out the space on the truck and have it all flow together.

Here you can see the original image I had to work with, the layout approved by FISH TV and Toyota, and the final results after it was installed. It turned out great.....and was a great example of perseverance to give the client exactly what they wanted.
