Complaint:
System refuses to start, although the motherboard is receiving power.

Diagnosis:
The power supply unit (PSU) has failed. Testing indicates unstable/dirty voltage on the 12V rail, most likely caused by failed or deteriorating capacitors. The PSU also showed signs of overheating, which likely contributed to its failure.

Repair:
Replaced the faulty power supply with a new 700W dual-fan PSU.

Recommendation:
To help prevent future overheating and component failure, keep the unit clean and free of dust buildup. It is recommended to blow out the system approximately once per month.

Full capacitor replacement on a Honda P06 PCM. 🔧

One of the capacitors had already started leaking, making this the perfect time to replace all the aging capacitors before the electrolyte could cause further damage to the circuit board.

Failing capacitors can cause multiple issues, including a no-start condition and problems affecting the fuel pump, ignition system, TPS response, and more.

Preventive maintenance goes a long way—replace those old caps before they eat away at the board!

Full Hondata S300 chipping on a Honda P06 ECU. 🔧🔥

• Removed the old socket and EEPROM chip
• Installed the modified chip and header pins
• Installed the required 2 resistors
• Added the data-logging header pins
• Finished with a thorough cleaning—as always

Someone absolutely butchered another Hondata install. 😬

The EEPROM socket wasn’t removed, and then they wondered why the 4-pin header wouldn’t sit properly on the pins.

I went through, corrected the mistakes, cleaned up my work area, and voilà—a much cleaner job. The last picture on the left shows my work compared to what the other guy did.

This wasn’t a full board restoration, so I only cleaned up and corrected the mistakes on my side of the board.

Clean work matters. 🔧🔥

2 Xbox one S's headed to the repair shop. Disk issue on the 1st one due to a jammed item. Kids, don't put acrylic disks in your Xbox! 2nd one had HDMI damage, likely from a fall. Daughter board and HDMI replaced, and both are good as new!
