Happy Birthday Hackergal!
Today it’s our birthday and we’re celebrating by highlighting the girls* and gender-diverse youth who are discovering their voices, building their confidence, and seeing themselves as the innovators and leaders of tomorrow through our programs.
But we couldn’t do all of this without the incredible community behind us.
Over the past year, our partners and community have helped make so much of our work possible, from growing our Ambassador Program to expanding our free courses on the Hackergal Hub to bringing STEAM learning to more learners across Canada.
Building on our past work, we’re excited to introduce the Hackergal Innovation Lab. It’s a nine-week experience, taking place from January to March, that empowers girls* and gender-diverse learners to turn their ideas into action by identifying problems in their communities, developing prototypes and sharing it at their very own Demo Day!
Of course none of this happens alone.
