Telavanti conducted its telecommunications providing and billing services in such a way that the company was made insolvent under court order on the 17th April 2012 due to breaching a number of ASIC (Australian Securities & Investments Commsion) http://www.asic.gov.au/ regulatutions. The company and its Director(s) are under investigation by ASIC for falsifying documents and defrauding investors, by the ATO (Australian Taxation Office) for fraud, failure to submit tax returns, failure to lodge company statements, failure to forward PAYG and failure to pay employee superannuation (which in Australia is a legislative requirement for all employers). These are Crown debts therefore allowing for recovery across the Commonwealth. In addition the company continued to trade whilst knowingly trading insolvent misleading creditors and customers. To mitigate the pending closure of Telavanti, Telavanti formed Dolphin Telecom, moving assests across which the insolvency agency believe was done to defraud their creditors and later claiming the value of the company as equivalent to GBP200 (Report as to Affairs.pdf (307,2 kB)). Telavanti owned 75% of the shares of Dolphin Telecom Pty Ltd, as time ran out on this company the Directors have simply moved their operations to the UK forming Televanti Solutions Ltd on 18/4/2012 (one day after being made insolvent in Australia). is in excess of AUD$300,000 of which only AUD$151,000 is expected to be recovered from secure assests and COH.
