Akai AP-003 Auto-Return Belt Drive Turntable

Dual HS32 Turntable Amplifier Speaker Complete System

I didn't take my own advice and spent a crazy amount of time getting this thing restored. Many of you know my feelings regarding all-in-one systems but this one was so compact, so complete, had separate speakers and was straight up overflowing with vibes that I just couldn't resist putting in the effort. After over a year of fiddling off & on and ordering parts from all over the globe it's finally ready to leave the nest and be appreciated in its forever home. I love it.

Bang & Olufsen Beogram 3000 Belt Drive Turntable

Ever see one of these?? This mid-70s gem is a rarity to say the least. While simple looking, this turntable is an audiophile masterclass. To B&O, elegance in design and innovation were just as important as sound quality. Not satisfied with copying their competitors, they designed and built every piece in-house and actually established an alternative audio ecosystem side by side with the Japanese without copying them. Very impressive!

When I took this old stray in for fostering it couldn't even play anymore. It was so sad to see in such a forgotten, feeble state. With a lot of love and TLC it's been meticulously rehabilitated and is eager to spin again in its forever home 🌀
