Running wire to three pairs of ceiling speakers usually means three separate amps. The Rotel RMB-1506 puts six channels of Class AB power in one 3U chassis, driving three stereo zones at 50 watts each. A buffered link output chains to a second unit when a fourth zone comes online. A desktop or nearfield system that runs out of bass below 60 Hz just needs a sealed box that fits where a conventional sub would not. The Kanto SUB8 is roughly eleven inches each way, built for under a desk. Its sealed enclosure favours speed over maximum output, and the low-pass and phase controls keep small-room bass from bloating. A BC-built match for a setup that needs bottom end it cannot reach on its own.
