WHAT’S BEEN COOKIN’ LATELY 🐾

Let’s take a closer look at Dogs in Colour Studios branding.

Didn’t think dog photographer was going to be on my list of projects for 2026 but I had so much fun working with Nicole on this project. Her story and vision was so inspiring and got me excited about the colour and playful direction of the brand. Nicole is a dog photographer in Kelowna BC, her work is so fun so we made sure to capture her joyful and bubbly personality in the brand.

The main source of inspiration was Nicole’s elderly cocker spaniel, Jesse, who has all the s***k still and is the icon for the branding. She has a passion for giving back to local rescues which is where she adopted her sweet boy from. In addition to the face of Jesse is a bright colour palette, retro inspired typography and playful dog illustrations they all come together to make a bold, and unapologetic brand.

Thank you Nicole for being a blast to work with, I seriously had such a great time bringing this rebrand to life! ✨

Yankee Flats Meats has made a name for itself here in the Okanagan and Shuswap as the supplier for quality, locally sourced meats and connecting them with the community. They embody farm to table in all the right ways and I’m here for it. I was so thrilled to be apart of their journey by creating branding and merch that aligns with their mission. If you haven’t yet you gotta check out their shop on downtown Vernon to grab some hella good steaks and merch!

Tori Throws Pottery - handmade pottery with a retro vibe. I had so much fun making this lil’ brand, it feels groovy, cozy with a hint of edge. Definitely my kind of vibe! Yes I have many of her rad mugs in my cupboard currently and they make me so content when I drink from them. It’s really the little things that make us happy am I right?!

Wildflower General Store aka the coziest neighbourhood shop for all things cute, affordable and fun. Seriously this is the kind of shop that I want to spend all my money in for cutesy plant stuff, stationary, candles, home goods and the like.

To be honest I crafted this brand a few years ago and back then I was treating Wander Folk as my side gig, not allowing myself to fully put my work out there in fears of being judged or criticized. Fast forward to now I’m letting myself be vulnerable and showcase these brands I’m proud of. Also Wildflower General deserves to be celebrated for bringing such an amazing spot to our small town. Homegirl - your friendly neighbourhood sando shop! Here’s the branding reveal for this rad cafe. Vernon has been in need for a cheeky eatery like Homegirl and I’m here for it. I created this brand identity with the vision of Homegirl being the easy-going cool friend that you go to hangout with. It’s full of nostalgia, playfulness and a welcoming vibe. This brand has been an absolute blast to work on and the team at Homegirl have been a breeze to collaborate with. In addition to the full branding experience the owners Merry and Sarah hired me to create some merch designs to throw onto tees and hats. I’ll show you the merch line tomorrow so stay tuned because it is full of fun and edginess.
