What if a winery could feel like part of the vineyard itself?
That’s exactly what makes this project unforgettable.

ADORIGO FARM WINERY
📍 Tabuaço, Portugal
Designed by Atelier Sérgio Rebelo
1,100 m² of winery architecture shaped by the Douro landscape.

Built within Portugal’s famous UNESCO-listed wine region, the winery follows the natural terraces of the land instead of reshaping them.

The result feels organic.
Calm.
Almost carved into the hillside.

Inside, the wine production process moves naturally through gravity, reflecting centuries-old traditions of the Douro Valley.

And everywhere you look, the architecture stays connected to nature.

A few details we loved:
• Curved forms inspired by vineyard patterns
• Sculptural wooden roof flowing through the interior
• Natural stone, timber, and earthy tones blending into the site
• Passive cooling strategies using the surrounding terrain
• Rainwater reuse and geothermal energy systems
• Tasting spaces overlooking vineyards and the Douro River

What stands out most is how the building changes with time.

The materials weather naturally.
The colors evolve with the seasons.
The architecture becomes part of the landscape itself.

Because the best winery architecture doesn’t compete with nature.

DELTA BUSINESS CENTER

11,326 m² of sustainable workplace architecture.

This building doesn’t fight its landscape.
It works with it.

Raised above the ground like a suspended volume, the project transforms the space below into an active environmental layer that supports water management, cooling, and biodiversity.

Instead of creating a sealed corporate box, the design opens itself to light, air, and future flexibility.

The workplaces feel adaptable.
Connected.
Built for change rather than permanence.

A few details we loved:
• Elevated structure preserving the natural ground condition
• Central bioclimatic courtyard improving comfort and ventilation
• Metallic layered façade filtering sunlight naturally
• Flexible office layouts designed for evolving business needs
• Smart energy systems reducing operational consumption
• Circular construction approach focused on reuse and longevity

TECHO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CAMBODIA
Phnom Penh
Designed by Foster + Partners
235,500 m² of transport infrastructure.
A new gateway for Cambodia.

This isn’t just a terminal.
It’s an experience shaped by place.

A sweeping roof canopy.
Structural “trees.”
Spaces filled with natural light.

The design draws from Cambodian heritage.
Temple-inspired forms.
Textures influenced by traditional weaving.

A few things done exceptionally well:
• 180 skylights distributing daylight across the terminal
• Overhanging roof reducing heat gain and energy demand
• Native greenery integrated throughout the journey
• Clear and intuitive passenger circulation
• Sustainable design blended with cultural identity

Nothing here feels generic.

A university dedicated to gastronomy.
Shaped by its own purpose.

This isn’t a typical academic building.
It tells a story.

Stacked volumes.
Like piled dishes.
A direct link to the world of cooking.

The building follows the land.
Stepping down a steep slope.
Spaces unfolding as you move through it.

A few things done exceptionally well:
• Concept-driven form inspired by everyday kitchen objects
• Clear separation of academic, practice, and research areas
• Central courtyard encouraging interaction and exchange
• Rooftops used for growing herbs and edible plants
• Strong connection between architecture and its function

LISHUI AIRPORT

12,100 m² of transport design.
Set within a mountainous valley.

This isn’t a typical airport.
It blends into its surroundings.

Soft, flowing form.
A roof that follows the land.
A silhouette like a bird resting in nature.

Inside, it feels calm.
Natural light fills the space.
Views open toward the mountains.

A few things done exceptionally well:
• Compact layout improving passenger flow
• Skylight bringing changing daylight into the terminal
• Transparent façades connecting interior and landscape
• Warm materials creating a quieter atmosphere
• Infrastructure designed as a civic and emotional space
