I just realized (almost a whole entire year later) that I never shared my version of Team Robo Challenge - Spectre & Quantum's.....
QUANTUM!

This one has been a long time coming.
I think I first started toying with the idea of drawing this beautiful biter of a bot back in S6. I couldn't quite figure it out, so it would just get set aside and I would carry on with my other projects...until a few weeks ago when I finally sat down and pieced it all together.
I'm so glad I took my time with this one.
Quantum is hands-down one of the most impressive and gorgeous robots to look at it. The shiny, chrome-look head is a machining marvel. You have to go to their Instagram page and see some of the crazy work that goes into making it look so cool!
So how exactly does a crusher bot manage to go 4-0 in the regular season last year? Easy. Their weapon can bite down with approximately 35K lbs of force. Yes, that's a lot of force.
For comparison, the saltwater crocodile has the strongest bite of any reptile, with a force of 3,700 PSI, making it one of the deadliest animals in the world.
So, Quantum can, will and has straight-up pierced a hole through some of the strongest armour and material this competition has ever seen!
Another off-season to fine tune what was already a nearly flawless campaign should have this bot in exceptional shape heading into S8!
And ooooh baby am I excited to see it feast on more robots!
