A good marketing graphic is doing more than looking nice.

It is guiding your eye, making information easier to understand and helping you recognize the brand before you even check the account name.

Hierarchy, typography, spacing, photography and consistency all play a role. So does knowing when to change things up. What works beautifully in an Instagram carousel might need a completely different approach on LinkedIn or Facebook.

The goal is not to squeeze everything into one design. It is to make the most important thing easy to see, understand and remember.

Save this one for the next time you are staring at a graphic thinking, something is just not working.

For the mountains outside our windows, the trails down the road, the businesses that keep our communities interesting and the people in Whistler and the Sea-to-Sky who trust us with their ideas.

A mountain bike tour is more than the ride. A hotel stay is more than the room. A day on the mountain is more than the view from the top.

When you are marketing adventure and tourism, the experience around the activity is often just as important as the activity itself.

Think about the anticipation before heading out, the people you are sharing it with, the weather that becomes part of the story, the tired legs afterwards and the stop for food on the way home.

Those details help someone picture themselves there rather than simply showing them what they can book.

In a place like Whistler, there are a lot of good stories happening between the big moments.

Whistler with a little more room to move around? We’ll take it.

There are still bikes on the trails, afternoons can be surprisingly warm, and grabbing a table in the Village suddenly requires a little less strategy. Bring a jacket, lose it by lunch, put it back on before dinner. You know the drill.

It is one of those stretches of the year when Whistler feels a little more local, a little less hurried and very easy to appreciate.

Not a bad place to have an office.

A little inspiration from our corner of the world 🍂

Cool mornings call for an extra layer, but by afternoon the sun is warm enough to have you carrying it instead. Add in early morning fog over the valley, the first yellow leaves along the trails and that soft September light, and Whistler is looking pretty good right now.

It’s the kind of in-between season that keeps a sweater in your bag and your camera close by.

The mood board lately: deeper greens, warm neutrals, soft layers, mountain light, crisp mornings and a little more texture.

Whistler in fall has a colour palette of its own, and we’ll happily borrow from it.
Saving everything that feels like fall in the Sea-to-Sky. 🍂📌

No lighting kit. No elaborate setup. No content day on the calendar.

Some of the strongest content comes from noticing what’s already happening around you and being ready to capture it.

September golden hour in the Sea-to-Sky certainly doesn’t hurt either. ☀️

A lot of information lives at ssisc.ca. Invasive species identification, reporting tools, training, local programs, resources, events, volunteer opportunities... the list goes on.

Our job was to make all of it easier to find, explore and actually use.

We recently had the pleasure of building a new website for the Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council, a local environmental charity working to protect the Sea-to-Sky from the impacts of invasive species. 🌱

The new site puts their incredible library of information into a fresh, approachable home, whether you’re trying to identify something growing in your backyard, report an invasive species or find a way to get involved.

We loved bringing this one to life for an organization doing such important work in our own backyard.
