Raven ReTek

Raven ReTek Raven ReTek (previously Computers for Schools Yukon) collects, repairs and refurbishes donated surplus computers, consoles and other tech.

We offer repairs, maintenance and general tech support! Raven ReTek is a new initiative that will build upon more than three decades of technology refurbishment and redistribution work previously delivered through Computers for Schools Yukon (CFSY). The transition comes as the national Computers for Schools Plus (CFS+) program evolves into Computers for Success Canada following the conclusion of f

ederal funding through Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) on March 31, 2026. While the funding model is changing, Raven ReCentre says the work itself is not ending—in fact, it is expanding. By bringing the program fully under Raven ReCentre's wing, Raven ReTek will continue refurbishing and redistributing computers while broadening access to affordable technology for Yukoners who may not have previously qualified under federal program guidelines. For many years, Computers for Schools Yukon (CFSY) provided refurbished devices to students, schools, non-profit organizations, low-income residents, indigenous communities, youth, and underserved populations. Under Raven ReTek, that mission will continue while creating new opportunities to support newcomers, job seekers, rural
communities, and any Yukoner interested in affordable, refurbished technology.

We have one 60" Plasma TV available for $20 + tax! We'll even help you load it(that goes for any purchases or drop off's you may have).

It's not perfect.. It has a couple of cosmetic dings, it's missing the stand, and yes... you'll probably notice it on your electric bill. 😄 But if you've never owned a plasma TV, they're a fun piece of technology that you don't see every day! It seems to work well and even includes it's original remote with batteries!

We do our best to reuse as many hard drives and solid state drives as we can, helping to keep perfectly good hardware out of the landfill. Before any reusable drive leaves our shop, it's securely wiped to protect your data.

Unfortunately, some drives are too damaged or too close to failing for us to verify that every bit of data has been erased. When that happens, there's only one option...

Our hard drive shredder! It tears drives into tiny pieces, ensuring your data is permanently destroyed and can never be recovered.

I will introduce our shredder at a later date. For now here is a picture of the end result of some shredded hard drives heading out to be recycled.
