They rely on catching you in a rushed, emotional, or trusting moment.

The good news?

You don't need to be a tech expert to shut them down. You just need a few simple habits.

Here are 3 that protect your business AND your personal life:

1️⃣ Slow down when something feels urgent. Pressure is the trick. If a message makes you feel rushed, scared, or excited, treat that feeling as a warning sign.

2️⃣ Verify on a second channel. A trusted name in your inbox doesn't mean it's really them. For anything involving money, passwords, or sensitive info, confirm by calling a known number or reaching out separately.

3️⃣ Assume everything you share can be seen. Bad actors use AI to stitch together small details from chats, posts, and shared files. Don't paste passwords into chats, and lock down your sharing settings.

Same 3 habits protect your company login and a family member getting a fake "it's me, send money" text.
