Hot off the presses from Canada Post / Postes Canada. This stamp issue celebrates Indigenous leadership in sport, honouring three remarkable people who've each left their mark on athletic excellence and cultural pride.

Bryan Trottier, a seven-time Stanley Cup winner and hockey legend, continues to inspire younger generations through sport and mentorship. Edward Lennie helped keep traditional Arctic sports alive and brought them to the Arctic Winter Games. Chief Wilton Littlechild built major Indigenous sports organizations and became a global voice for Indigenous rights.

Whether competing, building, or advocating, each has shaped sport in their community and left a legacy that carries forward.

Back in 2009, we designed a simple little mark for our dear friends at Jazz Winnipeg. Nothing flashy, just a clean, confident shape. It’s set the tone for the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival ever since, coming back summer after summer.

And here we are again: the festival kicks off this week. Proud to have played a small part in something that’s brought so much music to our city. Go catch a show.

Win an original, large-format vintage design poster

In support of design education, Get Behind Design 2025 is raffling three original exhibition posters from Robert L. Peters’ personal collection—each representing a defining moment in international graphic design. The posters are being donated by TÉTRO in support of this year’s fundraiser.

Alexander Tröhler, late 1970s–early 1980s
A classic Swiss institutional poster from the Schule für Gestaltung Zürich, using bold typographic perspective to celebrate posters, archives, and libraries—hallmarks of the expressive evolution of Swiss design.

Push Pin Studios aus New York
Jörg Hamburger, 1981
Created for a Zurich exhibition, this playful illustration introduces Swiss audiences to the influential Push Pin Studios. Painters scaling a giant palette reflect the narrative, irreverent spirit associated with Seymour Chwast and Milton Glaser’s legendary collective.

Entdeckungen der Staedte – Coca-Cola Trojan Horse
Han Xu, ca. 1999–2001
A striking silkscreen from China’s early contemporary design movement. A Trojan Horse built from Coca-Cola imagery offers a provocative critique of globalization and Western consumer culture.
