Cache is featured in the September issue of ELLE Canada!!!!!

This is one of those moments that to some, might feel small, but to me feels like a reason to pause and celebrate.

10 years ago, I interned at ELLE Magazine as an online editorial intern. My first taste of working in fashion. It was everything I ever wanted and dreamed of as a girl who started a fashion blog in 2008 to be like Tavi Gevinson and Leandra Medine Cohen.

To be featured in print, a decade later, talking about my OWN business that I am building in this industry I care so deeply about... little Devyn would be jumping around in her lavender bedroom squealing. Big Devyn certainly is.

A reminder to pause and take stock of the wins (big and small), because it is moments like these that remind me that whether it takes a year or a decade, you can still become that girl. I’m still her. The only difference is now, instead of dreaming it, I’m building it, one day at a time.

In honor of the occasion, I thought I’d give you a little walk down memory lane, because from the days of the fashion blog to my time at ELLE, there are some good lil’ tidbits.

I used to photograph all my outfits and post them on the internet under the alias “Arbitrarily Voguish” (iykyk). This is just one of MANY gems (oof) that I unabashedly published and proclaimed as fashunnnnn

A highlight of my blogging “career” (PSA I had 47 subscribers at my peak) was being chosen as Teen Vogue’s best dressed reader of the day.

Fun fact: I used to collect Teen Vogue and have more than 50 issues on display in my apt :)

From my days interning at ELLE Magazine - all the editors used to take selfies / outfit pics in the Hearst tower elevators and I thought it was so cool (so naturally, I did it too).
