Congratulations to the Telerik Academy School and Буки училищни програми / Buki school programs teams for organizing another inspiring edition of “Buki Fest: How Ideas Shine”!

This year’s festival brought together more than 340 participants from 13 locations, with over 140 students presenting 50+ innovative projects created throughout the school year. There was a wide variety of digital and physical projects: smart city models, mobile apps, educational games, comics, an educational robot, posters, and more, all demonstrating how creativity, technology, and teamwork can help solve real-world challenges and inspire future innovation.

By creating opportunities for students to experiment, collaborate, and present their ideas to a wider audience, initiatives like Buki Fest help nurture critical thinking, digital literacy, creativity, and confidence — skills that are essential for the future.

At Acronis, we were proud to support the event with small gifts and prizes for the participating students and celebrate the next generation of innovators in Bulgaria.

We’re proud to share the opening of a new STEAM robotics lab at ChildHope School in San José, Costa Rica, made possible by Acronis and NetFusion Consulting, Inc. through the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program.

This new learning space will provide more than 230 students from underserved communities with access to hands-on technology education, helping them develop critical skills in robotics, problem-solving, collaboration, and digital literacy.

“Seeing the excitement and engagement from the students reinforces why initiatives like this matter,” shared Matt Daryoush, CEO of NetFusion Consulting, Inc.

Our partner Grupo Eximo also joined the opening ceremony and supported students with backpacks and school supplies.

Cyber safety starts with inclusion - and that means not leaving seniors behind 👵💻

In Romania, our Foundation Ambassador Bianca Ceocea led a cyber safety session for 40 seniors, addressing real threats such as phishing, scams, and password security - closing March with a concrete, community-focused initiative.

Participants gained practical tools to spot threats, protect their data, and navigate digital spaces with greater confidence 🔐

This initiative highlights how localized action can turn cybersecurity expertise into real-world protection.

100 trees planted. One stronger community. 🌳

On March 21, Acronis colleagues - joined by their families - came together at Danilo Kiš Elementary School in the Stepa Stepanović settlement (Serbia) to create a greener space for students and the local community.

Cybersecurity awareness doesn’t start when risks appear - it strengthens when exposure is highest.

At Liceul Teoretic Mioara Mincu, around 20 high school students (aged 14–18) are already navigating complex digital environments every day - social media, online platforms, and constant data sharing.

That’s exactly why Acronis employees Silvia Filip and Alexandra Georgescu led an interactive session focused on real-world cyber risks: phishing, personal data protection, and digital responsibility.

Because at this stage, awareness isn’t theoretical - it’s immediately applicable.

Helping the next generation navigate the digital world safely starts locally. 🌍

Together with our partner go tec! Labor in Schaffhausen, we recently hosted a cyber safety workshop for children and parents.

25 children aged 10–12, along with their parents, explored practical ways to stay safe online:
🔐 protecting personal information
🎣 spotting phishing attempts
🌐 building responsible digital habits

The session was delivered by Markus Bauer, Senior Evangelist, who shared practical guidance on cyber safety with the group.
Great to continue this initiative together with Martin Sengel and the go tec! Labor team, bringing cyber safety education to families in the Schaffhausen community.

Proud to support Child at Street 11 in Singapore, a non profit dedicated to providing quality early childhood education and care for children from diverse and financially challenged families.

From past cyber safety workshops to this recent merchandise donation, supporting the community around us is something we aim to do consistently over time.

On March 4, we donated branded merchandise to support their programs and community activities.

The initiative started with an idea from Katarina Ničić, and the items were delivered to the organization by Sergey Saburov. 📦

Looking forward to continuing our support for initiatives that help children and families thrive. 💙

Over 50 seniors gathered in Ploiești for the first 2026 session of Romania’s national program “Cybersecurity – Initiation for Seniors.”

Organized nationally in collaboration with the Asociația Institutul Român pentru Îmbătrânire Activă and the ICI București - Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare în Informatică, the initiative - now in its seventh edition - equips older adults with practical tools to recognize phishing, social engineering, fraudulent calls, and online scams.

As shared during the session, personal data is like the key to your home - it must be protected with the same care.

Proud of the contribution made by Silvia Filip and everyone involved in delivering this impactful session.

Even prouder that sustained involvement in this national initiative has been recognized with a trophy honoring continued impact. 🏆
