Here's to one year 🥂
And here's to many more 🥂

Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since we officially opened our doors.

It was a vision that lived as just an idea for over 9 years, but it finally came alive because of a single DECISION to TAKE ACTION.

I’ll be honest, I was scared. I was afraid of failing, afraid of the bills, worried about market uncertainties, and constantly questioning if I was good enough to embark on a project like this.

Today, that once scared young man is celebrating 365 days of not just surviving, but thriving. It’s been a year of immense growth, learning from mistakes, building genuine relationships, creating impact, and adding real value to the marketplace.

To our amazing clients, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and choosing Gentle E’ Studios. We truly do not take your feedback, loyalty, and support for granted!

To anyone who is currently scared to start, this could be an encouragement for you. As John C. Maxwell beautifully put it:

“Nobody ever got ready by waiting, you only get ready by starting.” Progress only takes place after you take action, never before.

We are grateful for the is evidence of Growth.

The Church is where we started our design journey, and looking at where we are now, even the growth is evident in the designs.

From the old logo to the new, this is more than a visual refresh it’s a reflection of growth, evolution, and a new chapter.

Thank you, Praise Baptist Church Ndongo-Buea, for trusting us with the opportunity to bring this vision to life.

New brand. New energy. Same old problem: “How do we make this thing look GOOD?” 😂

We got to work on a new brand recently, and let’s just say… we didn’t come to play. 👀

From strategy to visuals, every detail was designed to make the brand feel like the brand — not just another nice-looking logo.

Hello everyone
So we started a mentorship program to train in designs from scratch and we would love to share what has been the progress so far.

To be honest, it's not been easy🥲, its been 20% us and 80% the students. We guided them, but they did the heavy lifting. We flooded their DMs with assignments, challenged them with tasks, gave feedback, and then... gave them even more tasks. 😂@@

Funny...What's funny is that the things they thought were impossible at the beginning are now things they can do with confidence. Well... almost with confidence. 😂 There's still plenty to learn, but the growth has been amazing to watch. To think that it took us years to figure out many of these concepts on our own, without consistent guidance, and these guys are making this much progress in just two months..

😂😂 Not saying we're the best trainers, its also been determination also from the students We look forward to more impact in this journey.

Are You a Designer or Just a “Photoshoper”?

Recently, we partnered with Gentle E' Studios to train a few aspiring creatives, and one lesson stood out:

Design is more than knowing how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

A designer doesn’t just move objects around a screen or apply effects. A designer understands why a design works. They think about the audience, the message, and how design can communicate effectively.

During the training, our focus wasn’t on teaching software shortcuts alone. We emphasized the principles that make good design—balance, hierarchy, contrast, alignment, and purpose.

Because at the end of the day, software is just a tool.

What makes a designer is the ability to think, solve problems, and create with intention.

Don’t just learn the tools. Learn the principles behind them.
