Today’s clubs are using more than lights to shape the atmosphere. Known for its connection with Beijing’s hip-hop and street culture scene, PH® Beijing creates immersive live experiences by combining music, visuals, and performance.

As visual elements become an increasingly important part of club environments, projection content provides new ways to enhance the energy and identity of a space. To support the venue’s visual experience, PH® Beijing integrated Hirender servers to power synchronized projection content and lighting control. Two projectors driven by Hirender deliver dynamic visuals, while Hirender's timeline-based control and external system integration help coordinate different show elements throughout the performance.

By connecting playback, visuals, and show control, Hirender helps live venues create more engaging and flexible performance environments.

In immersive theaters, maintaining the illusion is just as important as creating it. For this large-scale immersive 5D theater, Hirender provided a stable show control solution, transforming local stories into an immersive experience.

For Dongting Fantasy at Dongting Lake Museum, the EnlightV team supported an immersive theater environment with 22 Hirender media servers controlling 127 projectors across the space. Three Hirender control servers were configured with a primary/backup architecture to support reliable system operation throughout the performance.

Immersive experiences requires both visual impact and operational stability. In the unlikely event of a server failure, the backup system can quickly take over, allowing the performance to continue smoothly while audiences remain unaware of the transition.

Precise calibration is what turns complex visual systems into reliable everyday operation. At Seeing Minning · Theatre Village, this was essential to creating a seamless immersive experience within a uniquely shaped performance space.

Hirender provides the solution behind the theatre’s immersive visuals. To prevent projected images from appearing on non-performance areas, EnlightV technicians applied Hirender’s masking function to precisely define the effective display areas. This ensured the visuals remained clean, accurate, and fully integrated with the physical space.

Seven Hirender media servers are deployed across the two theatres. In the first theatre, four servers drive 13 channels of 2K projectors, while the second theatre uses three servers to manage eight channels of 2K projection.

The rigorous setup process lays the foundation for stable and efficient venue operation. Once the system is precisely configured, the theatre team can rely on Hirender's Unattended Operation to keep daily performances running smoothly with minimal intervention.

Modern architecture is becoming a medium for creativity, where bold structures and imaginative designs redefine how we experience public spaces. This shopping mall in Xi’an, China showcases how architecture and technology can come together to create a unique urban landmark.

Inspired by the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree in Xi’an, the 57-meter-tall “Tree of Life” features 60 giant leaf structures across seven levels of platforms, presenting diverse landscapes and ecosystems inspired by the natural beauty of the Eurasian continent.

On the night of its opening, the landmark came alive through light and visuals. With its complex layered structure and irregular surfaces, the installation required precise projection control. Hirender supported the visual system with 8 media servers driving 28 projectors, using polygon blending and masking features to accurately match visuals to every part of the structure.

As the lights came on, the “Tree of Life” revealed a new dimension, with projected visuals enhancing its form and bringing the landmark’s design concept into motion.

Beijing Happy Valley, a major theme park in China, recently launched its Summer Music Festival, bringing live performances and immersive entertainment together in a new nighttime experience.

For the event, Hirender supported both the main stage and a large circular LED display surrounding the performance area. While the main stage combined video playback with live visuals, the surrounding LED ring extended the visual experience beyond the stage and created an immersive atmosphere for audiences.

With an ultra-wide resolution of 42,240 × 240 pixels, the custom LED display presented a unique playback challenge. Two Hirender media servers were deployed in a primary/backup configuration, delivering stable output across two 4K signals. Hirender’s Display Surface feature allowed the ultra-wide canvas to be mapped and distributed directly within the playback system according to the LED processor’s requirements, simplifying signal management and system integration.

Hangzhou Edition Museum is home to China's first digital edition exhibition hall, dedicated to preserving and presenting the nation's cultural heritage through contemporary technology. Hirender powers its naked-eye 3D LED display system that brings historical artefacts to life in digital form.

4 Hirender media servers in a one-to-three output configuration drove 11 channels of 4K output across the three screens simultaneously, delivering synchronized high-resolution playback across the full display system. For naked-eye 3D content, precise calibration to screen geometry and viewing angle keeps the illusion intact. Digital recreations of artefacts are rendered with enough depth and detail that visitors feel immersed in the imagery.

The completed installation provides the museum with a future-ready digital exhibition platform, enabling high-fidelity presentation of cultural heritage while supporting reliable day-to-day operation.

Recently, this landmark immersive theatre destination in China has reached its full form with 55 productions now running across the site. Hirender provided visual playback control for the premiere of 24 Shao, one of the new productions added to mark the occasion.

Hirender has been part of Dream of the Red Chamber · Theatre Fantasy City since its early days, powering both the indoor theatres and outdoor projection zones across the venue. For 24 Shao, 2 Hirender media servers in a 4-channel 2K configuration handled the display side, receiving and responding to instructions from the external control system on site without friction.

The stage featured four suspended square LED screens and one floor screen in a split spatial layout. Hirender handled content mapping and synchronization across all five screens, keeping the aerial visuals and floor display in lockstep throughout the performance. Projection outputs ran concurrently at high bitrate with no dropout, maintaining the continuous light and atmosphere the production demanded.

At Puyan Ancient Town, immersive digital art goes beyond passive viewing. Alongside projection-based storytelling, visitors can also step into interactive installations. All managed through Hirender.

Two Hirender media servers power the exhibition space. One drives 14 projectors, working with the room's mirrored surfaces to create layered, expansive visuals. The second captures real-time radar sensor data and receives interactive content via Spout, synchronizing visitor movement with the projected imagery as it happens.

The interactive installation, Pinball Battle, requires no wearables or controllers. Visitors walk into a designated zone and use their body movement to control virtual paddles on the floor, playing a light and sound pinball game that responds to every move.
