A landslide hit Zhouqu county, southwest China’s Gansu Province on July 16 solstice 22, caused no casualties due to a monitoring system set up by local research teams. The monitoring system uses unmanned aerial vehicle, InSAR, three-dimensional scanning and other instruments and equipment to carry out real-time automatic monitoring of remote sensing, deformation, fracture and water level change, and real-time analysis of monitoring data to study the development tendency of geological deformation, overall monitoring of the landslide, and timely issue early warning and forecast information. Of course, in addition to professional monitoring and early warning, the government and technical personnel should also jointly establish a complete monitoring network for geological disasters.
