SOHO 3Q is a shared office solution launched in February 2015 by SOHO China Limited, a Beijing-based real estate developer chaired by real estate tycoon couple Zhang Xin and Pan Shiyi. SOHO China introduced the concept of SOHO 3Q in January 2015. The product marks the company’s strategic transition to integrate the real estate business with the Internet economy. Chairman Pan Shiyi says that the product appeals to the younger generation of entrepreneurs who have the flexibility of working from anywhere because of the Internet, but still seek communities of like-minded people. SOHO China refitted existing office properties to create the signature bright-colored but otherwise minimalist office space of SOHO 3Q. In February, the first locations with 1,500 seats were launched at Wangjing SOHO in Beijing and Fuxing Plaza SOHO in Shanghai. By May, Wangjing SOHO 3Q has been fully occupied. An additional floor was added at the same location in June. In October, 2015, SOHO 3Q will be launched at SOHO Guanghualu II with more than 3,000 seats. Amenities
Each tenant renting a “seat” is provided with a desk, lockers, and access to other complementary amenities including • Free coffee and tea • Free high-speed WIFI • Allocated free hours of conference rooms usage • Allocated free amount of printing and copying • Lounge areas • Open-plan kitchen • Vending machines • Private phone booths
Users can view the availabilities of seats at each location on the SOHO 3Q website or the mobile app. The mobile app recorded 1,000 downloads in the first two hours of release in the Apple Store. The online user portal provides account management services and functions including:

Each SOHO 3Q is a themed ecosystem with a distinctive tenant pool. There are community managers responsible for the user experience in different sections of each 3Q location.
