The core of this feature allows for the seamless upload and secure storage of video recordings from edge devices (such as IP cameras and NVRs) to a central server. Users are granted unparalleled flexibility: they can choose to upload only critical time-period recordings from the edge for centralized backup or opt to transfer the entirety of their edge-recorded footage to the central server for comprehensive archiving and safekeeping.

This pioneering feature is specifically designed to address a critical pain point in mobile or unstable network scenarios. A prime example is transportation, such as trains passing through tunnels. During network outages, live streaming to the central server is interrupted. Traditionally, this would create a gap in the central server's recording timeline. With SVMSPro's new feature, video continues to be recorded reliably onto the local storage (e.g., the camera's SD card) at the edge.
