As we all know,MPO/MTP products are usually used in datacenter solution,but do you really know how to use them in what kind of supporters? Today I'd like to share MPO/MTP patch cassette&panel.

Please check the following pictures,MPO/MTP patch cord could fanout SC/LC/FC and other type connectors,but usually SC or LC. To manage the fiber cable in order and high density,it needs patch cassette and panel to support.

One patch cassette can load 8F,12F or 24F,one 1U patch panel could load 4 cassette and achieve 96F capacity. There is another design of patch panel could load 12 small module patch cassette, so it could comes to be 144F even,if the patch panel is 2U,3U even 5U, larger capacity it could be.

That is how datacenter could arrange the structured cable in order and high density.
