From classrooms to Silverstone! 🏎️

This weekend, HP Robots Otto is taking STEM to one of the world’s most iconic racing circuits, Silverstone F1! 🇬🇧

Visitors are getting hands-on with Otto, driving robots around our custom race track, exploring coding through play, and discovering how engineering can be creative, interactive, and fun.

It’s incredible to see young engineers experimenting, racing, and smiling while learning the fundamentals of robotics.

A huge thank you to our UK partner Creative Hut Creative Hut for making this possible and bringing Otto to the Family Zone at Silverstone. We’re excited about what’s ahead! 🚀

🏆 The HP Robots × Printables Otto Remix Challenge winners are here!
We were truly impressed by the creativity, technical thinking, and playful ideas the community brought to Otto. Thank you to everyone who joined, designed, printed, tested, and shared their remix.
🥇 1st place: Otto-D2
A fantastic remix with great use of all HP Otto components, strong creativity, and excellent overall ex*****on. We also want to highlight that the creator contributed multiple high-quality entries to the challenge.
🥈 2nd place: Otto Modular & Play System
A very well-thought-out modular platform with excellent building-brick compatibility. Highly usable, playful, and full of potential for further experimentation.
🥉 3rd place: Otto-Sea
A wonderfully original concept that takes Otto beyond traditional wheeled designs, introducing a new floating platform and propulsion system.
Congratulations to all winners and honorable mentions, and thank you again to the whole community for showing how much personality one small robot can have.

Inspired by simple mechanics and clever thinking, it uses elastic energy to create movement that feels alive and surprising.

This one feels a bit special.
It’s not just a design, it’s something you can grow with.
A dad built this together with his son, turning Otto into a building bricks platform they could rebuild again and again.
 
“...my son became much more interested in programming...”
 
That’s really what this is about. Not just robots, but curiosity, creativity, and learning together.
