GINA Software GINA System is a map software technology for computers, tablets and mobile devices, which enables it

. Následně oslovili neziskovou organizaci HandForHelp, operující na Haiti, s nabídkou pilotního provozu systému přímo v terénu zemětřesením poničeného Haiti. Trojici oněch studentů tvořili Zbyněk Poulíček, Boris Procházka a Petra Černá - nynější majitelé a zakladatelé naší firmy.

GINA Software started new R&D projects in 2026:

Project „Platform for dispatching and coordination of the IZS using satellite imagery and artificial intelligence elements ", reg. no. CZ.01.01.01/01/24_063/0006740, which aim is is to develop a platform for more efficient command and coordination of the components of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS), utilizing real-time satellite imagery in combination with computer vision and artificial intelligence methods.

Second project „Modular situational awareness system (Application III. - MESIT asd, s.r.o.)“, reg. no. CZ.01.01.01/01/24_063/0006838 aims at development of components for a modular and open platform that provides situational awareness of the immediate and wider surroundings of a protected facility, as well as the detection and monitoring of potential threats.

Both projects are co-funded by the European Union.

500 firefighters. 7 helicopters. 70 units from 5 regions. How do you keep an operation like this under control? 🔍

A massive wildfire in České Švýcarsko National Park is showing just how fast a large-scale incident can escalate. With multiple sections burning across difficult terrain and crews arriving from across the country, coordination is what makes or breaks the outcome.

This is where Smart CAD supports the response:
✅ Unified command view across all responding agencies.
✅ Geofenced sector monitoring to know in real time what is under control.
✅ Live video integration from helicopters and drones, directly inside the operational picture.
✅ Built-in messaging and Push-to-Talk via GINA Tablets so every team stays connected throughout the operation.

Large-scale incidents do not forgive gaps in coordination. The right solutions make the difference between control and chaos.

360,000 barrels per day stopped by a single fire.

A power plant fire in Kazakhstan recently shut down Tengiz oil fields. One incident at this facility and the entire oil operation stopped.

The tricky part about power plants is that things can go wrong quietly. A sensor reading slightly off. A small malfunction nobody caught in time. And before you know it, it's a crisis that reaches far beyond the boundaries of your site.

👉 That's where Smart CAD helps. It connects to sensors across your facility and watches for anything unusual. The moment something looks wrong, the right people are alerted and units are dispatched immediately. No waiting. No manual calls. Just an immediate response before a small problem becomes an emergency for someone else.

Because in critical infrastructure, a slow response doesn't just affect you. As Kazakhstan showed, the consequences can shut down an entire industry nearby.

Theft in ports is a major global issue, with estimated losses in 2025 reaching nearly $725 million.

So what can ports do?

✅ Reduce the time between detection and response.

With Smart CAD, ports can use geofencing and automated alerting to act faster. If a vessel, vehicle, tracked asset, or staff member crosses a restricted boundary unexpectedly, the system immediately raises an alert and marks the event on the map. Dispatchers can view the relevant CCTV feed to verify the alert and deploy security teams immediately.

Smart CAD reduces delays and supports daily security operations, and with the right implementation it can also prevent incidents and stop threats from escalating.

When reflecting on incidents such as last year's evacuation of the Moranbah North mine, it is clear how quickly conditions can escalate into a serious emergency. Reports indicated elevated CO levels, triggering an evacuation. In situations like this, coordination and real-time situational awareness are key to a safe response.

👉 For mine safety managers, the real question is readiness before the alarm.

Integrated IoT sensors are essential in mining because they can spot hazards early. When certain limits are exceeded, Smart CAD automatically alerts the dispatcher about the situation, enabling a faster, coordinated response across dispatch, command, and field teams. That shortens the gap between detection and action, where most injuries and losses happen.

11 units in action! How to effectively manage a large-scale operation? 🔍

A recent devastating fire in a hall in České Budějovice showed how quickly a situation can develop into a serious emergency. Coordination is key to successful damage minimization.

This is where Smart CAD supports the response:

✅ Instant information sharing with all responders, eliminating communication delays.
✅ Real-time visibility of the exact location and status of every vehicle.
✅ Immediate access to hydrant networks and key infrastructure data.
✅ Emergency navigation directly to the incident location.

When solving a complex incident, shared situational awareness is what keeps operations moving forward, enabling a faster and safer response.
