Imagine you're playing with a magic flashlight that can draw colorful pictures or cartoons right onto the side of your house or a big playground slide. That's kinda what Lumiverse is like!
It's a super fun computer program made by some smart grown-ups at a company called LM3X. They use special bright flashlights called projectors to shine videos, drawings, or even dancing colors onto walls or buildings at night. It's like turning a boring old building into a giant TV screen for stories or games!
Here's how it works, step by step, like a bedtime story:
The Magic Map: First, the projector looks at the building with its own eyes (like a scanner) and makes a secret map of every bump, window, and corner. No more guessing where to draw!
Drawing Time: You sit at your computer (or even your phone from far away) and pick pictures or videos. Want a dinosaur chasing stars? Or flowers that bloom when you wave? You can add them like stickers on the map. The computer even asks a robot friend named AI (like a super artist) to make new pictures that fit perfectly, without going over the windows.
Mix and Play: Stack up lots of layers, like a sandwich, and make them fade in and out softly. You can change colors to make everything glow brighter or quieter. Then, push "play" to make a show that runs all night, or on a schedule, like fireworks after dinner.
Your Turn to Play: The best part? Kids like you can join in! Scan a magic square (called a QR code) with your tablet, and suddenly you can draw on the building with your finger or play a game like blocks falling from the sky—right on the wall!
