Two days. Real challenges. And results that genuinely impressed us! 🤩

That's how SpinIT Digital Innovation Days in Prague wrapped up — with a DemoDay full of energy, sharp thinking, and solutions we didn't expect to see from student teams in such a short time. Honestly? We're still a little amazed. 🙌🏻

2 challenges focused on two topics: Cutting through the "green fog" and From Reporting to Real Impact (SMEs)

Huge congratulations to ESG Buddy, who took home the top prize (and made it to 5 smaller ones :D), and to SUS-score, who won the Audience Award. 🏆 Both teams showed what's possible when you combine creativity with a real understanding of the problem.

Special thanks to our moderator Adam Červenka, whose energy carried us through both days and kept the room going even at the finish line, Vojtěch Jíra for guiding the teams through the Design Thinking methodology, Iaroslava Kalugina for her patient, thoughtful mentoring that helped teams find their direction and Dan Heuer from Fair Venture for bringing the challenges to life.

Big thanks also got to our jury: Roman Parak, Senad Pasalic, and Tina Iglicar Kubalik for their sharp, constructive feedback. And to everyone else! Students, mentors, experts, partners, jury members.. thank you. 😊 These two days were a reminder of why events like this matter.

Day 1 of the Digital Innovation Days and the Final Conference of the SpinIT project is officially behind us! 🚀

Yesterday at Black Swan in Prague, we kicked off an action-packed start to the final chapter of the SpinIT project — bringing together students, experts, mentors, and project partners from across the Danube region. 🌍

The first day featured two parallel events running seamlessly side by side:

✔️Student Ideathon: We launched a 2-day ideathon where student teams use the Design Thinking methodology to tackle real challenges provided by Fair Venture. This year’s topics focus on critical sustainability issues, including:

👉🏼Cutting Through the “Green Fog”
👉🏼From Reporting to Real Impact

✔️Partners as Experts: SpinIT project partners actively joined as experts and coaches, helping teams better understand the challenges and guiding them through the first ideation phases.

✔️Project Synergy: While students brainstormed innovative solutions, project partners worked on finalizing key project outcomes, including policy recommendations and lessons learned gathered throughout the SpinIT journey.

✔️Inspiring Study Visit: The afternoon also included an inspiring study visit to the CIIRC CTU premises for project partners.

We are proud to see this cross-border collaboration in action, supported by the Interreg Danube Region Programme and co-funded by the European Union. 🇪🇺

Now we’re excited for today, where student teams will present their final pitches to the jury! 🤩

Mluvit o vlastních emocích není vždy snadné.. Někdy je mnohem jednodušší je prostě vzít do ruky a poskládat z papíru! 😉✂️

Dnes jsme v rámci projektu Back on Track strávili 2 hodiny se studenty Střední odborné školy Jablonecká v Liberci a věnovali se duševnímu zdraví trochu jinak, než bývá zvykem. Místo klasické přednášky jsme vzali staré časopisy, nůžky a pustili se do práce s emocemi skrze kreativitu – individuálně i ve dvojicích. Každý si vybral jednu emoci a zkusil ji intuitivně ztvárnit formou koláže. 🙌🏻

Cíl byl jednoduchý: dát emocím prostor, aniž by musely být hned pojmenované nebo vysvětlené. A co se ukázalo?

✔️Tvorba přirozeně přináší klid a bezpečný prostor pro sebereflexi.
✔️ I v době plné tlaku a různorodých pocitů mezi studenty silně rezonovaly pozitivní emoce.
✔️Kreativita se ukázala jako velmi silný nástroj pro zpracování emocí – často přirozenější než samotná konverzace.
