Yesterday at SMM Hamburg, we had something worth celebrating ⚓

We marked the upcoming launch of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 📟, our brand-new controller behind a ship's engine and its propulsion, auxiliary, emergency, and harbour systems alike. And the booth was full of buzz. Validation partners, customers, and visitors to the show floor stopped by just to see it up close for themselves.

Jaroslav Juriga, our Marine Segment Manager, said a few words to welcome the guests. Together with Jan Kovačka, the controller's product manager, he gave the ComAp Marine family its newest member, and for Jarda, the best birthday present he could ask for.

Congratulations to the whole team! The wait is over. The controller is available for orders starting Monday.

Empowering Employees | Hassaan Minhas, Technical Team Leader, ComAp UK

This week, we move from Prague across the Channel.

For the past seven years, Hassaan has been a key part of ComAp UK, delivering some of our most complex gas and diesel power generation projects while helping strengthen the technical capabilities of the UK team. Recently, he's focused on hybrid microgrid (HMG) work: the point where wind, solar, batteries and gen-sets have to behave as one system.

Seven years might not sound long next to colleagues who've clocked decades. But it's placed him right at a shift he finds exciting:

That excitement shows in the work. A recent project asked ComAp to integrate a wind turbine, solar array, BESS and backup generation into one working system. Hassaan's team proved it piece by piece, then ran extensive testing until the system met the customer's operational requirements. Impressed, the customer now gives ComAp first call on every project and trains its own people on the system Hassaan helped deliver.

And it's not only his own read on it. As Shawn Shepherd, Managing Director of ComAp UK, puts it, nobody had to encourage Hassaan into HMGs: he built the knowledge from scratch, and customers quickly noticed the difference.

Del 10 al 14 de agosto, Medellín se convirtió en punto de encuentro para el sector de generación de energía en Latinoamérica.

15 profesionales de distintos países de la región dejaron por una semana sus rutinas para enfocarse en algo muy concreto: dominar el control de grupos electrógenos y la sincronización básica con soluciones ComAp.

No fue una capacitación pasiva. Cada sesión combinó teoría con ejercicios prácticos, resolviendo casos reales que cada participante podía aplicar directamente en su día a día en campo.

Un punto destacado de esta edición: utilizamos en un entrenamiento presencial nuestra 𝗘𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹, ahora disponible como feature soportado en varios de nuestros controladores. Poder simular el comportamiento real del equipo sin depender únicamente de hardware físico le dio a la práctica un nivel extra de profundidad y valor.

Lo que más nos quedó de esta semana no fue solo el contenido técnico, sino las conversaciones entre pausas: técnicos de distintos países comparando retos, soluciones y formas de trabajar con generadores en contextos muy diferentes entre sí.

Así seguimos construyendo una comunidad técnica más fuerte en toda la región.
