Sky Shapers Update 1.1 erschienen
Ab sofort ist die Version 1.1 von Sky Shapers verfügbar.
Mit diesem Update sind wir auf die am häufigsten geäußerte und berechtigte Kritik an Sky Shapers eingegangen. Um Gegner und Projektile vor der verfügbaren Farbpalette besser hervorzuheben, hat Mr. Possible die Grafik überarbeitet und alle Sprites mit einer schwarzen Kontur versehen. Zudem haben wir die Unterstützung für mehr Farben bei den Hardware-Sprites erweitert; dadurch besitzt nun jedes Projektil eine eigene, unverwechselbare Farbe, die sich deutlich vom Hintergrund abhebt. Neben der besseren Sichtbarkeit der Sprites haben wir auch die Prioritäten der Sprites angepasst, sodass der Laser die Projektile nicht mehr verdeckt.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die Änderungen an der Kollisionsabfrage zwischen Gegnern und Tycho: Diese entspricht nun der für Projektile und ist somit großzügiger gestaltet, da Gegner die Spitzen der voll ausgefahrenen Flügel passieren können, ohne dem Spieler Schaden zuzufügen. Wir hoffen, dass das Spiel durch diese Änderungen fairer und unterhaltsamer wird!

Sky Shapers 1.1 Update released
Sky Shapers released in Version 1.1.
With this update we have addressed the most vocal and fair criticism of Sky Shapers. In order to make the enemies and bullets to stand out more given the palette we have to work with, Mr Possible have reworked the graphics to add a black outline to all the sprites. We also updated and added support for more colors to hardware sprites, so now all bullets have an individual distinct color that stands out from the background. In addition to the effort to make sprites easier to see, we have changed sprite priorities so the laser will never obscure the bullets.
We would also like to highlight changes to the collision detection for enemies against Tycho, it’s now the same as against bullets, so it's more forgiving as enemies can pass through the tip of the fully extended wings without player damage. We hope these changes will make the game more fair and fun to play!
