Check out our Welcome Back surprise for the IconPro team!

The home office is not always easy and ideal, particularly when you are used to working with people that support and motivate you.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our IconPro team has been working from home. Thankfully, the time has finally come that we come back to the office!

We’re happy to announce that our Marketing activities are going through some changes!

This semester, we, at IconPro, count on the help of five students from the RWTH Aachen University, who are participating in the Six Sigma program, coordinated by PRS Technologie Gesellschaft mbH. They are helping us restructure our Marketing strategy within the five steps the program consists of, the DMAIC.

DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. This method has the goal to improve the capabilities of a certain business process.

The students Christian Barstadt, Nikolas Kristkeitz, Aaron Geisen, Bonnie Stanek, and Tobias Schulze have been helping us a lot so far with their analysis! They have put in a lot of effort and given us great tips on managing our social media, website, and other communication channels.

With the end of the lockdown and a considerable decrease of the COVID19 incident numbers in Germany, we, at IconPro, decided to gather the team for a very expected reunion.

We want to thank and that provided food and drinks for us and, of course, our team members, for bringing a lot of energy and making the encounter so pleasant!

Of course, we all got tested for COVID19 before attending the event.

We are happy to take part on the research project .

The research project’s goal is to develop a method based on reinforcement and transfer learning for the implementation of novel controllers in quality control loops of bulk metal forming processes.

Funded by the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and with a duration of three years, starting from the 1st of June, the project involves the collaboration of several partners, including: The Chair of Production Metrology and Quality Management, the Chair of Manufacturing Technology (both from the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University), as well as the companies Mubea Tailor Rolled Blanks GmbH (Konsortialführer), Eichsfelder Schraubenwerke GmbH, Schomäcker Federnwerk GmbH, Quality Automation GmbH, MAWI GmbH und GMBH SCHULER PRESSEN

On Friday, the 2nd of July, the team of PIRATEx was here to record our short video for the competition.

It was really fun to be on set and to meet some of our colleagues.

After being a student assistant at WZL in Predictive Maintenance of machine tools, Lucas Scandolara is now assisting us at IconPro.

He is almost finishing his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Paraná, in Brazil, and is now excited to have some practical experience with us. He is working on the development of our software for Predictive Maintenance, the IconPro Apollo.
