Chris released the studio version of the Kaboomania title track on his Patreon account today - free for all subscribers - and once again emphasized how happy he is to be composing for the Amiga again after decades away 🙂: https://www.patreon.com/c/chris_huelsbeck/

There’s also a new - highly official - Huelsbeck CD planned featuring the game’s soundtrack. He’ll be composing studio versions of ALL the tracks specifically for this release. So there’s plenty in store for your ears. 😁

KABOOMANIA Kickstarter launches on March 29! The official trailer is here!

Yes, the Kickstarter campaign to get my passion project KABOOMANIA over the finish line starts on March 29 and runs for 30 days. You'll have the chance to get your hands on an extremely high-quality boxed edition - including the game on a classic floppy disk or CD. You'll also have the opportunity to add a new monster to the game based on YOUR specifications. Do you have an evil mother-in-law? This is YOUR chance to throw a few sticks of dynamite at her pixelated version! 😉

The purpose of the campaign is (the game is coming out anyway) to finance the remaining work on the 4-player multiplayer mode, to release the game for Steam, iPhone, and consoles, and hopefully to add a few more Chris Hülsbeck tracks.

That's how beta testing was done in the 90s! 😉 South West Amiga Group - https://southwestamiga.org.uk/ - tested my new game KABOOMANIA in multiplayer mode at a top-secret 🤫 event. And they obviously had a lot of fun doing it! Minor bugs were found and new suggestions were made. I can only say a thousand thanks for that! Just a small taste of what future Amiga multiplayer sessions will look like. 😄

A few new screenshots of the KABOOMANIA world that was completed last weekend. Two worlds finished - three more to go!

Never heard of KABOOMANIA? No? Then you've probably never been trapped in a video game like the game's hero, Scott Whiskers (it happens to the best of us 😉)? Well, your job is to guide good old Scott home in this highly explosive retro maze bomber with a brand new soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck. A whopping thousand levels are waiting to be conquered.
