tools to perform emotion. we're a couple (literally) of composers making mood-based sample libraries. what are mood-based sample libraries?

think of them as individual collections of curated recordings made to convey a specific emotion. in our sessions, we collaborate with the musicians to generate “the emotion” in the rooms we record. we creatively process and curate our sounds with the same intention - always with “the emotion” in mind. that could mean crafting sound-designed textures from the recordings, or allowing the “raw” natur

e of the recordings to remain intact. why make mood-based sample libraries? we want to make instruments that inspire music. not just playable sounds. because ones that carry mood, texture, and intention allow your creative ideas to feel like something. we think that the sounds you use should feel like the ideas you feel in your head. because at the end of the day, music is supposed to make your listeners feel something too.
