Dashboard Fatigue?
- Why Actions Speak Louder Than Dashboards -
People have a love/hate relationship with dashboards. Some say they’re dead (not the case), others can’t live without them. Done right, they can be invaluable, done wrong they can be too time-consuming. One thing is for sure, there are too many dashboards with too much information, and it can be tiring keeping up with all the data.
The problem is also connected to the fact that data is decentralized and scattered throughout tens of different applications all of which only tell one part of the story.
Common challenges:
-data consolidation
-centralization
-access.
And obviously the corollary issue is analysis paralysis: too much unstructured data and lack of insights and guidance that leads to either no initiatives at all or too many initiatives without prioritization and ROI projections.
Hence, the necessity of having an Action Management System that first translates data into insights and then converts such insights into impactful initiatives directly with smart workflows.
