💡 A glimpse behind the scenes of tech – our Girls’Day at Bonial 🚀

On April 23, we welcomed curious students to our office to explore how diverse the tech world really is 🚀

After a relaxed start with breakfast, our colleagues from Software Development, Product Management, and UX Design shared insights into their daily work. The students got involved in a hands-on workshop and learned that tech is about much more than code, but can also be very creative, full of teamwork, and highly problem-solving.

After inspiring conversations and an office tour, this was a day full of open exchange and real connections.

We hope we encouraged them to follow their own path. Because visibility creates opportunities 💜

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our March .berlin meetup again at Bonial 🚀 This was our 3rd collaboration, and we always enjoy teaming up!
In case you didn't make it, here is what you missed 😉

✨ Almost 90 guests joined us for an evening full of learning, exchange, and great conversations
🍕 Over 50 pizzas were eaten (we did not count the drinks)

Huge thanks to our Team Lead Data Science & Engineering, Joerg, for doing the intro & welcome again 🫶

The night featured two amazing sessions:
💬 Ask the Career Coach - Live AMA with our co-organiser Valentina Scipione, sharing honest insights on navigating careers in tech
🐍 Solving real life problems with basic Python by Eric Rishmüller, showing how simple solutions can make a real impact

With also two lightning talks hosted by audience members, we covered everything from career questions to hands-on Python inspiration. We already look forward to the next event with the people from .berlin for an evening full of energy, curiosity, and community 💙

Our annual End of Year Party is never just a celebration. This year, we took a moment to pause and look back on a year full of progress, challenges, learnings, and shared successes.

Together, we’ve built, shaped, questioned, improved, and grown together. We celebrated milestones, navigated ups and downs, said goodbye to longtime colleagues who left their mark, and welcomed wonderful new people who already feel like an essential part of our journey.

The night was filled with great conversations, laughter, music, and the joy of being surrounded by the people who truly make this company what it is. ♥️

Every year, we aim to spread a little Christmas magic 🎄✨

Together with Kinderhaus Berlin e.V., we collected wishes from children in need, and thanks to our wonderful team, we were able to make them come true once again.

Our colleagues chose a child’s wish from the tree, hung a festive bauble in its place, and purchased the gift to bring that wish to life.
On Christmas Eve, all the presents will be handed over to the children of Kinderhaus Berlin e.V. to share what this season is truly all about: giving joy 🎁✨

What a Friday! 🎉 We had the pleasure of hosting another Agile Learning Lab Meetup at bonial, and again, it was all about curiosity, collaboration, and community. 💡
Around 30 participants joined us for an inspiring Open Space session full of insights, discussions, and great energy.
A big shoutout to everyone who participated and to Anton, one of our Agile Coaches, for ensuring everything ran smoothly. 🙌

Another amazing HR Meetup with Geeky People in the books! We again treated everyone to our beloved Antipasti and freshly baked pizza from and all on our rooftop terrace! 😍

Our Engineering Lead Maylin joined an incredible panel of leaders to discuss the key takeaway: navigating turbulent times is less about stability and more about adaptability. Organizations that empower their people, embrace change, and cultivate a growth mindset are best equipped to turn uncertainty into opportunity.

As a highlight, we offered a practical workshop with actionable tools to guide teams through transformation. Even though it started at 9 pm, it was super popular and full of energy.

Our Bonial squad ventured out to the Axel Springer rooftop terrace which turned into a battlefield of foosball fury last month! 🚀 With an incredible turnout, everyone brought serious skillz and even bigger ambition to the soccer table.

The evening had it all: insane trick shots and nail-biting finales, the matches were full of energy, laughter, and pure competitive spirit. It was amazing to see so many teammates cheer, challenge, and just have a blast together.

A huge shoutout to .espour, who crushed it and took home the champion title! 🏆🔥

Thanks to everyone who played, laughed, and made the tournament an absolute highlight. Can’t wait for the next one to defend and keep the trophy 💪

For the 5th year in a row, the Beach Volleyball Company Cup, hosted by Hauptstadt Beacher, took place in Berlin - and this year, it was proudly sponsored by Bonial! 🏐🌞 With 28 teams competing on the sand, we were excited to support this amazing event.
We sent two teams to the tournament: Our Bonis on the Block and Vibrant Volleys. A huge congratulations to Vibrant Volleys for securing 2nd place in the B-Cup 🎉🙌

Thanks to Hauptstadt Beacher and everyone else who participated and made this event unforgettable. From incredible matches to great energy, we had an awesome time! 💛
