Deep Sales note #3 from building adict.ai:
By the time a buyer replies, the story already started.
They may have seen the post.
• Opened the email.
• Clicked once.
• Forwarded something internally.
• Ignored the second message.
• Checked the website.
• Waited.
• Compared.
• Gone quiet.
Then the reply comes in and everyone treats it as the beginning.
It usually isn’t.
It is just the first visible moment.
This is where a lot of campaign logic is still too primitive.
𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

But the buyer behavior was 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲.
𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 who clicked twice is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 as someone who never opened.
𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 who converted should 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲.
𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 who unsubscribed should disappear completely.
𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 who went quiet may need time, not another “just checking in”.
That is why we are building the marketing side of .ai with activity blocks, filters and routes.
The campaign should remember what happened.
Then sales can act with a little more sense.
