Howie Hecht, our COO, spends most of his time making sure everything runs — quietly, reliably, behind the scenes.

But what many don't know, Howie brings a background that's pretty hard to match:
- Degree from MIT/Sloan
- 30+ years on the water
- Current Commodore of the Watertown Yacht Club after a decade on their board
- Safety Launch + River Control captain for the Head of the Charles Regatta

His data science work reached into marine technology, with Siren Marine among the companies he supported. Before that, 30+ years across high-tech security and data science.

And when he's not doing any of that, he's volunteering with the Medical Reserve Corps, Community Emergency Response Teams, and the Boston Marathon amateur radio operator team.

Howie holds a multi-disciplinary background in computer science and cognitive science. And he’s been a serious boater for 30+ years - since first hitting that dirty Boston water.

Team LOOKOUT is lucky to have him as a leader.
