Why Our Multimap Solution Is Superior
Bosch MG1 / MG1CS163 Example:

There are several solutions on the market marketed as Multimap or MapSwitch. However, most of these fall into one of two categories:

They simply modify torque request, throttle sensitivity, or other driver-demand parameters by reusing existing factory driving mode functions.
They implement basic map switching that is limited to a small number of maps (typically 2, 5, 10, or 20), while relying on heavily simplified, reduced, or even broken factory logic.

Our Multimap / Mapswitch solutions are fundamentally different.

Whenever sufficient memory space is available, we do not compromise by taking shortcuts. Instead, we properly implement live switching of every required module and calibration table while fully preserving the OEM control strategy. We never disable or bypass the factory logic, as many competing solutions do.

More importantly, every individual map is calibrated independently—whether for an Off-The-Shelf (OTS) calibration or a fully custom tune. This ensures that each map behaves exactly as intended while maintaining complete compatibility with the original ECU control architecture.

The result is a calibration that offers:

True live map switching without limitations.
Full preservation of OEM control logic.
Accurate requested vs. actual values across all operating conditions.
Stable adaptation strategies.
Consistent and repeatable performance on every map.
No unwanted side effects or unpredictable ECU behavior.

Many alternative solutions achieve map switching by applying offsets to the final calculated values or by switching only individual maps without considering all dependent modules within the control strategy. This often leads to mismatches between requested and actual values, unstable adaptation algorithms, inconsistent boost and torque control, and unpredictable vehicle behavior.

While these solutions may appear to accomplish the same objective, they do not respect the ECU's underlying architecture.

Our implementation follows the only method that can truly be considered OEM-level. Every relevant module is switched together, all factory strategies remain intact, and every calibration is individually optimized. The result is a Multimap solution that delivers factory-quality integration with professional-level flexibility, precision, and reliability.

Unlike many commercially available solutions, every line of code behind our Multimap system has been designed, architected, implemented, validated, and tested entirely in-house. We do not outsource the development to third-party engineers or purchase generic switching frameworks. This allows us to maintain complete control over the implementation, guarantee the quality of every release, and continuously refine the system based on our own engineering standards.

At the end of the day, this isn't a matter of opinion. The OEM control strategy was designed, validated, and calibrated by teams of 40–50+ highly qualified engineers and PhDs. Our philosophy is to preserve and work with that architecture—not to disable it or work around it. If someone believes there is a better engineering approach, they are effectively arguing against the engineering principles established by the teams who designed these ECUs in the first place. We simply respect their work and build upon it the way it was intended.

This time, an Audi R8 V10 Plus equipped with the MED17.1.1 dual ECU system and DL800 DSG gearbox received the full GT-Innovation Stage 2 treatment, flashed entirely through GT-Flasher.

TTRS 8S | Precision 6870 | Timing Updates

We finally found some time to update and test the calibration on our shop TTRS.

Using only Q16 race fuel and running 2.75 bar of boost (normal full boost setup is 3.0 bar), we headed to the streets to collect some fresh data.

The results speak for themselves.
