1st day. Yesterday I was awakened by a phone call. I looked at the clock, it was twelve o'clock in the morning. What creature calls so early? I thought about it and decided not to pick up the phone. After lying in bed for another half an hour, I realized that I could no longer fall asleep and went to the kitchen to make myself coffee. There was no coffee, the money ran out three days ago. A single cockroach ran across the table and before I could decide what to do with it disappeared behind the refrigerator. There were no ci******es either. Offended by everyone, I went back to sleep, but before I could reach the bed, the phone rang a second time. This time I picked up the phone. It was Lenka. Her voice was cheerful and cheerful.
- Hello, Ksyusha! I've been trying to get through to you for two hours, - she shouted into the phone, - I have such a bunch of news here, I'll tell you right now, you will fall. I knew that if Lenka calls, she will chat on the phone for two hours or even more. Now such a prospect did not suit me, besides, after yesterday's drinking, my head hurt very badly. I interrupted her chatter and, making a terribly businesslike voice, said:
- Len, I'm sorry, but I already ran.
I hung up, covered the phone with a pillow and went to sleep. You have to do something, look for money somewhere and, in general, change your fu***ng way of life. Then I decided to just keep a diary. Woke up at noon. I usually sleep longer, but today I had such an abominable dream that I preferred to wake up early. I do not remember the sequence of events, but, in general, everything looked as follows. The whole dream I was pursued by some unfamiliar Armenian with a dog who shouted:
- Girl, I want to meet you, the name of the man is Araik, but how are you, huh? He was old, fat, already balding, and kept trying to bite my heel. And then his lap dog was spinning under his feet and yapping incessantly. Then some old woman appeared from somewhere, waving a twig and began to shout:
-Here I’ll whip you for a while, you lascivious bitch, so that you don’t run around the peasants. The milk on the lips didn’t dry out, but there you’ll end up with a dog for yourself. I'll pull up your skirt and fall asleep right on the street, it was disrespectful. Look, b***s lit up the stramnitsa!

My first man knew that I wanted, ideally, to remain a virgin until marriage, or at least that the first man be a man with whom I plan a long future together. He and I have been going around and around this topic and around our relationship for a long time - what is it, is it serious. I knew he had a lot of girlfriends and said I didn't want to be one of the list. "You are special," he replied.

The school yard was already full of children. The kids were in groups. Each class separately. I quickly found my class. The guys saw me and with a joyful cry ran towards me, began to clap on the shoulders, on the back. I didn't think that everyone would be so happy to see me.

- And where is Fedya Rybkin? asked Grisha Vasiliev.

- Really, where is Fedya? the guys shouted. - You always went together. Where did you lose it?

- No Fedya, - I answered. He won't study with us anymore.

- Why?

- He left our city with his parents.

- How so?

- Very simple.

- Aren't you lying? - asked Alik Sorokin.

- Here's another! I will lie!

The guys looked at me and smiled incredulously.

- Guys, and Vanya Pakhomov is not, - said Lenya Astafyev.

- And Serezha Bukatina! the guys shouted.

“Maybe they also left, but we don’t know,” said Tolya Dezhkin.

Here, as if in response to this, the gate opened, and we saw that Vanya Pakhomov was approaching us.

- Hooray! we shouted.

Everyone ran towards Vanya and attacked him.

- Let go! - Vanya fought us off. - You've never seen a person in your life, have you?

But everyone wanted to pat him on the shoulder or on the back. I also wanted to slap him on the back, but by mistake I hit him on the back of the head.

- Ah, so you still fight! - Vanya got angry and with all his might began to escape from us.

But we surrounded him even more densely.

I don’t know how it would all end, but then Seryozha Bukatin came. Everyone left Vanya to the mercy of fate and attacked Bukatin.

- Now, it seems, everything is already assembled, - said Zhenya Komarov.

- Everything, except for Fedya Rybkin, - answered Igor Grachev.

- How can he be counted if he left?

- Or maybe it's not true. Here we will ask Olga Nikolaevna.

- Believe it or not. I really need to cheat! - I said.

The guys began to look at each other and tell how they spent the summer. Who went to the pioneer camp, who lived with their parents in the country. We all grew up over the summer, tanned. But Gleb Skameykin tanned the most. His face looked like it was being smoked over a fire. Only light eyebrows glittered on him.

- Where are you tanned so? Tolya Dezhkin asked him. - I suppose you lived in a pioneer camp all summer?

There was a table covered with a white tablecloth, and on it were seven small plates, each plate had a spoon, and also seven small knives and forks, and seven small goblets. There were seven small beds against the wall, one next to the other, and they were covered with snow-white bedspreads. Snow White wanted to eat and drink, and she took a little bit of vegetables and bread from each plate and drank a drop of wine from each goblet - she did not want to drink everything from one. And since she was very tired, she tried to lie down in bed, but none of them suited her: one was too long, the other too short, but the seventh turned out to fit her, she lay down in it and, surrendering to the mercy of the Lord, fell asleep .

When it was already completely dark, the owners of the hut came, and there were seven dwarfs who mined ore in the mountains. They lit seven of their lamps, and when it became light in the hut, they noticed that they had someone, because not everything turned out to be in the order that it was before. And the first dwarf said:

Who was sitting in my chair?

Second:

Who ate from my plate?

The third:

Who took a piece of my bread?

Fourth:

Who ate my vegetables?

Fifth:

Who took my fork?

Sixth:

- Who cut with my knife?

The seventh asked:

Who was drinking from my little cup?

And the first one looked back and saw that there was a small wrinkle on his bed, and asked:

Who was that on my bed?

Then the rest ran up and began to say:

“And there was someone in mine too.

The seventh dwarf looked at his bed, he saw that Snow White was lying in it and sleeping. He then called the others, they came running, began to scream in surprise, brought seven of their light bulbs and lit up Snow White.

— Oh, my God! Oh my God! they exclaimed. “But what a handsome child! They were so happy that they did not wake her up and left her to sleep in bed. And the seventh dwarf slept for an hour with each of his comrades, and so the night passed.

Morning has come. Snow White woke up, saw seven dwarfs and got scared. But they were kind to her and asked:

-What is your name?

“My name is Snow White,” she replied.

How did you get into our hut?

And she told them that her stepmother wanted to kill her, but the huntsman took pity on her, and that she ran all day, until finally she found their hut. The gnomes asked:

“If you want to manage our household, cook, fluff the beds, wash, sew and knit, keep everything clean and in order, if you agree to this, you can stay with us, and you will have plenty of everything.

“Very well,” said Snow White, “with great pleasure.

And stayed with them. She kept the hut in order, in the morning the gnomes went to the mountains to look for ore and gold, and in the evening they returned home, and she had to cook food for them when they arrived. The whole day the girl remained alone, and therefore the good gnomes warned her and said:

“Beware of your stepmother: she will soon find out that you are here, look, do not let anyone into the house.

And the queen, having eaten Snow White's lungs and liver, again began to believe that she was the very first and most beautiful of all women in the country. She went to the mirror and asked:

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Who is the most beautiful in the whole country?

And the mirror answered:

You queen are beautiful

But Snow White is there, beyond the mountains,

At the seven dwarfs outside the walls

A thousand times more beautiful!

The queen was frightened then - she knew that the mirror was telling the truth, and realized that the huntsman had deceived her and that Snow White was still alive. And she began to think again and invent how to exterminate her; from envy she did not have peace, because she was not the very first beauty in the country. And then, finally, she thought of something: she painted her face, disguised herself as an old merchant, so that it was impossible to recognize her. She went through the seven mountains to the seven dwarfs, knocked on the door and said:

I sell good stuff! Selling!

Snow White looked out the window and said:

— Hello, kind woman, what are you selling?

“Good goods, fine goods,” she replied, “the laces are multi-colored.” - And the queen took out one of the laces, showed, and it was woven from colorful silk.

“This honest woman can be let into the house,” thought Snow White, opened the door bolt and bought herself a beautiful lace.

“How does it suit you, girl,” said the old woman, “let me lace you up properly.”

Snow White, not expecting anything bad, stood in front of her and let the new laces be tightened on her, and the old woman began to lace, so quickly and so hard that Snow White suffocated and fell dead to the ground.

Of course, in everyone's imagination, Netine will have its own country. In his own country, for example, John lived in an overturned boat, Michael lived in a wigwam, and Wendy lived in a hut made of large leaves tightly sewn together, and besides, she had a tame wolf, which her parents abandoned in childhood. But with this slight difference, the islands of Netine will look alike, like brothers who always have the same noses. On these magical shores, children are always playing with their fishing boats ashore. We also visited there when we were children. Until now, the sound of the surf reaches our ears, but we will never again land on the other side.

Sometimes, as she traveled through her children's minds, Mrs. Darling came across strange words, and the most depressing was the word "Peter." She did not personally know any Peter, but in the minds of John and Michael he came across often, and in the head of Wendy this word came across just at every turn. The name was written there in larger letters than all the other words. Looking closely at it, Mrs. Darling found that it looked somehow very strange and bold.

“Yes, Peter is very arrogant,” Wendy admitted with a sigh when her mother asked her about him.

"But who is he, my daughter?"

“He's just Peter Pan, mommy. You know, do not you.

At first, Mrs. Darling could not remember anyone by that name. And then, mentally getting to her childhood, she suddenly remembered about some Peter Pan, about whom they said that he lives where the fairies are. When she was little, she certainly believed this, but now she was a married and sensible woman, so she strongly doubted the existence of such a character.

“Apart from anything else,” she remarked to Wendy, “he should have grown up a long time ago.

"Oh, no, it's not growing," Wendy told her. “He is, well, just like me.

Mrs Darling decided to consult Mr Darling. But he only smiled indulgently.

- Mark my words. It's some nonsense that Nena has hammered into their heads. The dog could well come up with such a fantasy. Do not pay attention. It will pass.

But it never went through. And soon the insufferable boy frightened poor Mrs. Darling to death.

One morning, Wendy revealed something to Mrs. Darling that worried her greatly. Leaves were found on the floor in the nursery, which were not there when the children went to bed. Mrs. Darling was unsuccessfully trying to find the key to this riddle, when Wendy said with a condescending smile:

It must be Peter again.

What are you talking about, Wendy?

— As soon as you are not ashamed not to clean up after yourself! Wendy continued with a sigh. She was a very neat girl.

Wendy explained in the most casual tone that Peter sometimes came into the nursery at night and sat on the edge of her bed and played his pipes. She does not wake up at the same time, and it is not known how she knows about this. He just knows, that's all.

“What nonsense are you talking about, sweetie!” How can you enter a house without knocking?

“I think he comes through the window.

“But, my dear, we live on the third floor!”

"Weren't there leaves by the window, Mom?" Quite right. The leaves were found just near the window. Mrs Darling was taken aback. Wendy spoke with such confidence. There was absolutely no way to explain to her that she had seen all this in a dream.

"Daughter, why didn't you tell me about this before?" exclaimed Mrs. Darling.

- Großmutter, Großmutter, warum hast du so große Hände?

- Das, Enkelin, um dich fester zu umarmen.

- Großmutter, Großmutter, warum hast du so große Ohren?

- Das, Enkelin, um dich besser zu hören.

- Großmutter, Großmutter, warum hast du so große Augen?

- Das, Enkelin, um dich besser zu sehen.

- Großmutter, Großmutter, warum hast du so große Zähne?
