Dataplan provides an interface to the vjoon K4 editorial system for more than ten years. We also support the latest version of K4 version 8 R2 which was released last week.

If you’re using version K4 Version 8 R1 you can use the import modules and export modules for R1 after updating to R2, the modules are fully compatible.

On Februar 23rd we published release 199 for JournalSuite 6 with many corrections and new features for JournalDesigner and our other applications. All release notes for Release 199 are available in our customers download area as usual.

In addition to the updates for JournalSuite 6, we are also working on the JournalSuite 7, which is planned to be released in the next months.

Next version of the JournalSuite will support Java 9 on Windows and macOS. This release 197 is planned for middle to end of november.

Important announcement: The actual version of the JournalSuite doesn’t support Java 9, JournalDesigner can’t start with Java 9. We are actually working on this problem, at the moment we recommend not to update to Java 9.

On October 20th we published Release 196 for JournalSuite 6 with many corrections and new features for JournalDesigner and our other applications.

New in the version are the support for macOS High Sierra, for the new Vjoon K4 V7 R5 and for WoodWing Software Enterprise 10.2.
