Guest registration - the end of data protection?

As part of the ongoing Corona protection measures, since May 2020 we all have to expose our personal data, such as name, date and time of the visit as well as contact details (residential address, e-mail address or telephone number) when visiting restaurants, public swimming pools, sports studios, hairdressing salons etc., and the company will process them in accordance with the regulations. Of course, this collection serves the purpose of contact tracing in case of a possible chain of infection. This procedure is very time-consuming and tedious for all of us. Data protection can hardly be observed. Many guests are put off by it. The economic damage for the companies is great.

But it is much easier, faster and with full data protection - with MyOwns! You only have to register with MyOwns once. There you will receive your personal 8-digit code and off you go. You simply leave your code with every visit. That's it. In case of contact tracing, the authorities can contact you via MyOwns.

In the cold season we protect ourselves against the cold by wearing gloves, beanies or scarves. When putting on and off in restaurants, cinemas or changing rooms, we tend to forget one or the other. In the last two days we were very diligent. We had two exciting shooting days for the MyOwns image film. On Saturday morning we shot two scenes on the famous Heider market. On Sunday followed scenes in the local ice cream shop Cortina, in the City park at the water tower and home in the garden. Everything went perfectly and we got all our scenes successfully in the box. Now UNEM-Filmproduktion (www.unem.de) will check, cut, copy and edit our film and photo material. All this will take a few more weeks. We are already looking forward to the result. The image film will be published on the redesigned homepage of www.myowns.de and www.myowns.com in June or July.

Today we had a big job. For sponsorship, we packed 230 envelopes with MyOwns key tags for all participants of the 3. International Rotex Convention 2016, which will take place the 11th until the 14th of August 2016 in Hannover, Germany. Each envelope contains an explanatory flyer and one key tag. Each key tag carries on one side a QR Code sticker and on the other side a NFC sticker - both coded with a unique MyOwns Code. MyOwns wishes all Rotexer a nice convention!
