📣News alert—today, we are happy to announce our partnership with the NVV. Together, we will redefine digital ticketing for public transportation in the North Hesse region—and beyond!🚀

The best part? The new digital ticketing platform will be based on our Yatta Platform and include Yatta Checkout.☺️
For an idea of scale, the NVV is responsible for public transport services covering:

• Some 7,000 km² of about 1 million inhabitants
• 483.6 million km (passenger kilometers/year)
• 99 local bus & train stations with 5,608 stops

So, this is a big deal! We’re delighted to join forces with the NVV and launch this journey together.

What our teammates see as key challenges for the future of tech...

It has been almost 11 years since Marc Andreessen published his article “software is eating the world”. Marc concluded that software companies would disrupt (more or less) all traditional industries, and we have seen that transformation going on ever since. While his prediction became common sense over time, the questions and challenges we face might have changed.

We asked our teammates what they see as the key challenges of digital transformation – and how we can (and should) contribute to tackle them.

Six years ago German politician and leader of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) Christian Lindner visited us in . We held a debate on Germany's startup ecosystem and the challenges facing companies like Yatta.

Today, he is German Federal Minister of Finance and continues to work on his startup agenda. Representing Germany, he signed the European Tech Champions Initiative*, pledging €1 billion to strengthen the European startup ecosystem.

He said: " and scale-ups are essential for , growth and job creation. [...] Now is the time to set the course for a digital and sustainable transition from crisis mode to focusing on growth."

We're excited to see the German government fostering innovation through startups and scale-ups—hopefully this is only the beginning!
