Today, Allegro Packets is backed by many network specialists in various fields of activity, who have helped to lead the company to where it is today - the leading provider of network analysis tools. 💪🏽 Every day we combine our knowledge and strengths for you, and can therefore guarantee best products.

Allow us to briefly recall and reflect on how it all began. In the beginning there were five minds who wanted to revolutionize network troubleshooting with a portable and time-saving analyzer. With their long-time expertise already gathered in other positions, they knew (and still know) what matters when it comes to simplifying the work of network professionals. Today, several thousand well-known customers already rely on the Allegro Network Multimeters.

We are very happy to announce that we are a official sponsor at this years Sharkfest US and Sharkfest EUROPE. SharkFest will take place in Kansas City, USA, from July 9-14, 2022, and Allegro Packets will be attending for the first time.

Why is Allegro Packets even at the Sharkfest?
Wireshark is the open-source goto tool for recording and analyzing network packets. However, processing large amounts of data with Wireshark alone is proven to be challenging in multiple ways.
With Allegro Network Multimeter, real-time network traffic and imported pcaps are intuitively displayed in clearly structured statistics according to the L2-L7 OSI structure. We have a very dear cook who spoils us week after week with delicious food.

Most of the times it's 3 courses of regional and seasonal delicacies that we may enjoy together at lunch break, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Working with a cook also reduces our (food) waste footprint, as people do not have to bring their own packaged meals.

Chat about the world and get to know each other better. Here we have a few examples of our food. There are always vegetarian options and varied healthy home cooking.

We simple love it 🙂

🌱 On June 5 was the UN World Environment Day. This day of action was already founded on June 5, 1972, which was also the opening day of the first UN World Environment Summit in Stockholm. 🌱

Since Allegro Packets was founded, we have been committed to supporting environmental protection. Our main focus is to use resources efficiently and wisely and to avoid unnecessary waste.

Some of our actions for this goal are:
- using environmentally friendly resources for our fair t-shirts and promotional products (which, by the way, are only commodities and are designed to be used for many years)
- thinking before printing - but if it is necessary, however, we print in an environmental printing house with ecological paper, CO2 neutral processes and environmentally friendly and vegan inks
- our packaging is reused several times, reducing waste
- we have a chef who cooks fresh and regional (and mostly vegetarian) food for us to minimize waste through delivery services
- many of our employees come to work by bike and public transport
- we use only green electricity
- we separate waste
- our chocolate and coffee are fair-trade and ecologically produced
- we also buy second hand furniture to extend its life cycle

May 31, 2022 our partner day took place in Leipzig and we had visitors from all over the world for exchange and networking.

The day before we already had a great get-together and could all get to know each other and talk a little. On the Partner Day we focused on the technical, sales and marketing aspects of the Allegro Network Multimeter. 💪🏽

According to the Global DNS Threat Report 2021, 87% of companies worldwide were affected by DNS attacks last year. DNS monitoring entries must be checked regularly, because even small errors or outdated information can open doors for cyber criminals. Such failures then lead to loss of data and (business) performance, among other things.

Therefore, good DNS maintenance is very important for network security. Nevertheless, the topic and the dangers are underestimated in many companies, because DNS is often set up as a routine beast and is additionally expected to run by itself. But different factors lead to major security gaps, which is why DNS should be checked regularly.

We are pleased to announce that this year, our 2nd Partner Day. 🥳 We invite our Resellers to talk with us on technical aspects of the Allegro Network Multimeter, as well as the benefits of our appliances. We will provide training for our partners, to pass on the best possible information to customers and assist them as much as possible. In addition to all the information exchange, there will of course also be a relaxed social program. However, we do not want to reveal too much here 😉
