Taking an efficient approach towards how we navigate through urban life does not only make us more relaxed, it also protects our nature. YES! GoCaspr ist Gewinner des sovanta AG UX-Design Award 2018 von Uncover Mannheim!

Preisträger, Teil 1:
Der mit 2.000 Euro dotierte sovanta AG UX-Design Award geht an GoCaspr, einer App zum face-to-face Parkplatztausch. Konzipiert haben sie Philipp von der Wippel, Leo Sailer, Dominik Notz, Johannes Windelen, Maximilian Schlereth und David Reitenbach aus München.

Die Jury schreibt: "Wer kennt es nicht? Und wer ist nicht schon mal daran verzweifelt? Parkplatzsuche in urbanen Ballungsgebieten. Diese raubt einem nicht nur den Nerv und kostet viel Zeit, sie sorgt auch für einen höheren Energieverbrauch und noch mehr Feinstaubbelastung.
Die Informationsplattform Gocasper überzeugt durch ihre stringenten Lösungsansätze. Sie ermöglicht die Kommunikation zwischen Verkehrsteilnehmern und sorgt für eine Entspannung im innerstädtischen Verkehr.
Das Konzept überzeugt durch sein bedienfreundliches User-Interface sowie der eingängigen Darstellung komplexer Sachverhalte."

Where are we headed? A good overview of what challenges and chances the future of urban mobility might bring. However, it is yet to be decided which of the possible scenarios should become a reality. The fundamental question remains: What city and community do we want to live in?

As more of the world’s cities become congested and polluted, new business models and technologies are emerging to solve the mobility challenge.
