Update on the update:

Not only is bodalgoCall capable of screen sharing, video sharing, live camera – you can now route any participant to a track in your DAW. Okay, there is a bit of setup needed on your end (you will also need to have a tool that creates "virtual inputs", like Loopback for Mac or VB Audio for Windows), but once all is in place, it works like a charm.

Here's the story: Back in 2015, when I launched bodalgoCall, I said at VO Atlanta it would be free for all. For good. And it had been that way ever since.

Except a tiny little thing: When I added a feature that allowed to record all participants of a session in separate tracks, I made that a premium function.

Today, I am happy to announce that – for the time being (at least until the end of the year) – bodalgoCall can be used by everybody without any restrictions. That includes full remote recording of a session. I think that's a world's first. At least with the bells and whistles bodalgoCall offers (video sharing, screen sharing etc.)

What has that to do with winning a premium membership? Well, I have a little challenge for you:

By design, apps like bodalgoCall are kinda limited when it comes to the number of people in a session (at the same time). While I know that 4 to 6 people usually are no issue at all for bodalgoCall (making it *way* better than any of the usual suspects like ipDTL, SessionLink Pro, Source Connect), I never found out how many people it can really carry at the same time.

So here is how to win one year of bodalgo Premium Memberhship (worth 399,90 Euro):

Conduct a bodalgoCall session with as many people as you can and MAKE A SCREENSHOT that shows all of the channel strips.

Post that screenshot in the comments or send it to [email protected] by Friday, Feb 20th, 8pm CET (that's 2pm Eastern and 11am Pacific)

The screenshot showing the most participants wins. In case there are multiple screenshots showing the same number of participants, a winner will be drawn from those.

bodalgoCall just got a *major* update. Besides lots of stability improvements, you can now share your screen or a video with participants. This allows voice talents to record their voiceovers in sync with the video which is great for lots of different production scenarios.
