DE-CIX / Interxion Störung 09.04.2018
Es kam zu einem Stromausfall im Interxion Rechenzentrum. Hierbei war auch der DE-CiX in Fra5/6 betroffen und zeitweise offline.
Wir waren weiterhin uneingeschränkt erreichbar, da unsere DE-CIX Verbindung am Knoten in unmittelbarer Nähe im Fra1 ist.

We would like to inform you, that Interixon informed us, that the power is restored for now. Engineers are on site to monitoring the works. Right now, we have access to a
commercial power only. New generators should arrive soon to keep the situation stable. Root cause analysis is ongoing.

We would like to inform you that power at FRA5 Data Centre is again down. Please see the new update from Interxion:
“Interxion would like to advise you that further to our previous notification, power to our FRA5 Data Centre remains down. Initial indications lead toward a transformer and
generator issue as experienced previously, although investigations are ongoing, with primary focus to restore power. Interxion apologises for inconvenience caused. Please be
assured that all possible efforts have been taken to restore service as quickly as possible.”

We have recent information from Interxion that hopefully the power outage will be fixed within the next 2 hours.
Initial information from Interxion:
Interxion would like to advise you that we are currently experiencing an interrruption to the utility power.
Customer load is currently being provided by our generators.
Our engineers are working with our utility provider to restore the load to utility supply and further updates will follow.
