This week, we welcomed 30 students and faculty members from FH Münster to dSPACE! 🏢

💡 The day offered a great mix of technological insights and career-related topics, giving the students a glimpse into our work and how different roles at dSPACE work together. In addition to the presentations, the visit included a tour with live demonstrations of our products, giving the visitors first-hand experience of our solutions and day-to-day operations.

💬 It was great to see the participants show such keen interest and make the day so engaging with their thoughtful questions and open discussions. Many thanks to FH Münster and all participants for visiting us – we really enjoyed the exchange and look forward to staying in touch with the next generation of engineers and innovators.

Diese Woche durften wir 30 Studierende und Lehrende der FH Münster bei dSPACE begrüßen! 🏢

💡 Der Tag bot eine tolle Mischung aus technologischen Einblicken und karrierebezogenen Themen und gab den Studierenden einen Einblick in unsere Arbeit und wie verschiedene Rollen bei dSPACE zusammenwirken. Neben den Präsentationen umfasste der Besuch eine Führung mit Live-Demonstrationen unserer Produkte, wodurch unsere Lösungen und die tägliche Arbeit greifbar wurden.

💬 Es war toll, dass die Teilnehmenden großes Interesse zeigten und den Tag mit durchdachten Fragen und offenen Diskussionen so spannend machten. Vielen Dank an die FH Münster und alle Teilnehmenden für ihren Besuch bei uns – wir haben den Austausch sehr genossen und freuen uns darauf, mit der nächsten Generation von Ingenieuren und Innovatoren in Kontakt zu bleiben.

Deepa, Group Manager at dSPACE Trivandrum, brings over 17 years of experience across both service and product companies. She joined dSPACE in March 2025, stepping into a role that perfectly aligns with her passion for strategic leadership and building high-performing teams. 🚀

Although she first came across the opportunity through a job portal, what stood out to her was the thoughtfully designed hiring process and the clarity of purpose she sensed during her final conversation with the Managing Director. ✨

She shares:

“I wasn’t familiar with dSPACE at first, but through research and conversations with peers, I discovered a company with deep roots in innovation, a legacy dating back to the 1980s at MIT, and a strong global reputation in the automotive domain.” 🗯️

🏃‍♀️ 🏃 New dSPACE record at the Easter Run🎉
The Paderborn Easter Run was a real highlight again this year. Our 173 dSPACE runners rocked the course with lots of motivation, great spirits, and a new participant record.

A special congratulations goes to our colleague Erik Peters, who achieved an outstanding second place in the half marathon with an impressive time of 01:10.15 🥈What a fantastic performance and a new dSPACE benchmark on the course!

The dSPACE Special Olympics Run also shows us how much sport brings people together, with runners with disabilities competing in separate categories. A total of 62 participants took part. ❤️

Our dSPACE kids really brought some energy to the children's run! 28 dSPACE kids ran the 1.2 kilometers together with their parents and everyone had a really great time.👶👧👦

Many thanks to all the runners and supporters – you were great! We are already looking forward to next year🙌

🏃‍♀️ 🏃 Neuer dSPACE Rekord beim Osterlauf🎉
Der Paderborner Osterlauf war auch in diesem Jahr ein echtes Highlight. Unsere 173 dSPACE Läuferinnen und Läufer haben mit viel Motivation, bester Stimmung und einem neuen Teilnehmer-Rekord die Strecke gerockt.

Ein besonderer Glückwunsch geht an unseren Kollegen Erik Peters, der mit einer beeindruckenden Zeit von 01:10.15 einen hervorragenden zweiten Platz im Halbmarathon erzielt hat 🥈💪 Eine großartige Leistung und ein neuer dSPACE‑Maßstab auf der Strecke!

Wie sehr Sport verbindet, zeigt uns auch der dSPACE Special-Olympics-Lauf, bei dem beeinträchtigte Läuferinnen und Läufer mit einer separaten Wertung an den Start gehen.
Insgesamt waren hier 62 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer dabei. ❤️

Unsere dSPACE Dötze brachten beim Kinderlauf ordentlich Schwung auf die Strecke! 28 dSPACE Kids liefen zusammen mit ihren Eltern die 1,2 Kilometer und hatten richtig viel Spaß.👶👧👦

Why Paderborn is cooler than many expect – and how team building helps us see things from new perspectives. 🌆🤝

Our User Documentation and Language Services team recently spent an afternoon exploring the Riemeke district in Paderborn – on a graffiti tour that showed us just how lively, creative, and surprisingly diverse our city really is. 🎨✨

Guided by Sven Niemann (Generation Arts & University of Paderborn, Graffiti Project “Ingrid”), we discovered how present street art is in the cityscape and how strongly it shapes Paderborn. From the colorful facades opposite our campus to the impressive murals created during the facade festival: Paderborn shows how urban, modern, and artistic it can be. 🏙️🖌️

One highlight of the tour was learning about the history of graffiti – from quick tags to sophisticated techniques that some artists now make a living from. And we even got to try spray painting ourselves. Spoiler: It’s more challenging than it looks. 😅🎯

We wrapped up the tour at the Florianwiese, home to the largest graffiti piece in the city, followed by delicious pizza and lots of impressions. 🍕✨

It’s highly recommended – give the tour a try! 🙌

Warum Paderborn cooler ist, als viele denken – und wie Teambuilding dabei hilft, neue Perspektiven zu öffnen. 🌆🤝

Unser User Documentation- und Sprachenteam war einen Nachmittag im Paderborner Riemekeviertel unterwegs: auf einer Graffiti Tour, die uns gezeigt hat, wie lebendig, kreativ und überraschend vielfältig unsere Stadt ist. 🎨✨

Geleitet von Sven Niemann (Generation Arts & Uni Paderborn, Graffiti Projekt „Ingrid“) haben wir entdeckt, wie präsent Street Art im Stadtbild ist und wie stark sie Paderborn prägt. Von den farbenfrohen Fassaden gegenüber des Campus bis hin zu den beeindruckenden Murals des Fassadenfestivals: Paderborn zeigt, wie urban, modern und künstlerisch es sein kann. 🏙️🖌️

Besonders spannend: Ein Einblick in die Geschichte des Graffitis: von schnellen Tags bis hin zu ausgefeilten Techniken, mit denen heute Künstler ihren Lebensunterhalt verdienen. Und wir durften sogar selbst zur Sprühdose greifen. Spoiler: Es ist anspruchsvoller, als es aussieht. 😅🎯

Abschluss an der Florianwiese mit dem größten Graffito der Stadt, gefolgt von leckerer Pizza und vielen Eindrücken. 🍕✨

Viji, Senior Software Developer at dSPACE India, brings over a decade of experience from CDAC. She recently joined the team in Trivandrum and describes the move to dSPACE as refreshing and reassuring. ✨

From her very first interaction with HR, she noticed something different - clear communication, structured processes, and genuine engagement.

“Even when some team members were away on business, they made an effort to connect and made me feel welcome.” 🗯️

Coming from a cyber security background, the move into the automotive sector is no small adjustment. But the onboarding process, knowledge transfer sessions and well-structured training sessions have ensured that this transition has been doable.
