Overcrowded parking spots, traffic jams, poor salaries, hours of waiting, poor communication, and long working hours are the reasons fewer and fewer people decide to become truck drivers.

In the new reality of road freight, which could last well into 2022, most supply chains and markets could face real shortages of labor and capacity, especially trucks and trailers.

While operating costs in the market have increased significantly in the past year, such as the price of fuel, the main challenge and goal of companies should be shifted to create a working environment that improves the driver interaction with pickup and drop off locations (such as warehouses), and working conditions overall.

There are differences between 1PL, 2PL, 3PL, 4PL, and 5PL, but do you know what the terminologies and providers mean? 🚚💨

At the end of March, Germany ended the obligation to let their employees work from home.

While a lot of companies decided to make it mandatory to go back to the office completely or at least a couple of days a week, byways wants to make sure that everyone can work in the environment they feel the most comfortable in.

So for everyone who wants to work from the office daily, weekly, or bi-weekly, our team has provided flexible work hours and a comfortable space in Berlin. For those who feel most comfortable to continue working from home, we make sure to still include all of our team in our vivid office life and environment!

Apart from classical tools like email and Slack, you can also spend time driving a go-kart or have a meeting via interactive tools such as Gather. Below you can see some of our teams having a brainstorming session.
